5- Confessions Are Made

(Jay's POV)

"So, Jay, liked your little moment back there?" Kai asked me. I furrowed my eyebrows. The fire inside started building up.

"Cole ran off into his room because of you! Why'd you do that?! Cole has people problems! You can't just put him on the spot like that!" I shouted at him.

"Geez sorry. I didn't know. Look, I'm sorry." Kai apologized to the blue boy.

"He just........he's never kissed someone before. He's dated but never went beyond holding hands. Doing that, it was way too sudden for him."

"So he's locked in his room right?" He asked me.

"Yeaaaaah......?" I asked a little cautious.

"Then go apologize to him."

"What?! But this was all your idea!" I snapped at him.

"I know, I'll apologize later. If you do it first, he'll be more comfortable than if I do it. Look, just do it." Kai dragged me to Cole's bedroom.

"Fine! But only because you'll apologize to him as well." I sighed.

"Great! See you around!" Kai turned around and ran off somewhere else. I rolled my eyes.

"Cole?" I asked as I opened the door. He was on his bed, his back facing me.

"What is it, Jay.....?" He didn't turn around recognizing my voice.

"Um......do you want to talk? About the......y'know...." I sat next to him.

"No.....I don't."

"Look, this was all my fault. I should've known that would happen. I'm sorry....."

"It's not your fault, it's mine. Either way I should have helped you instead of leaving you in the snow." Cole to sighed.

I chuckled. Then laughed.

"What's so funny?" Cole asked.

"It just.....," I tried my best not to laugh,"You basically just left me there and I don't know.....haha.....I think it was just amusing in some way. "

"Yeah.....I can see that in a way." Cole chuckled.

"So let's just forget about that kiss thing, alright? It was just a plain old trick either way, so it's not worth it." I said in a hushed tone.

"Not worth it?! I'll have you know that one kiss was my first one. That I used on you! If you cared about Nya before, then you'd care about me as well!" Cole instantly shut his mouth after saying that. I looked at Cole in shock. Maybe this is my chance.....?

"Have you ever thought that maybe I dated Nya, because I wanted to be closer to you......?" I felt my cheeks burn. The room felt hotter and I wanted to curl up in a tiny ball.

Cole looked at me.

"Jay......?"

"You weren't supposed to hear that......"

"Jay........quiero decirte que te amo mucho aunque eres mi amigo...."

"What?" I had no clue what he was saying.

Cole took a deep breath.

"Voy a besarte, por favor no enojas conmigo....."

"Cole, I don't understand you. At all."

Cole leaned forward towards me and kissed me softly. The whole world stopped.

I was shocked at first, but then I melted into it. I could taste the cake on his lips, and all the sweetness of him that led up to this moment. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he held onto my waist. The scene was unfolding before my eyes.

Sadly, we had to part for air. We both looked at one another, blushing and breathing heavily.

"So does that make us......?" I didn't finish my sentence.

"Well, yeah I guess......if you want to......" Cole said. I didn't hesitate to hug Cole.

"I've been wanting to tell you since forever how much you really mean to me." Cole's voice whispered into my ears.

"Heh....same." I said back to him.

Cole let go of the hug and held onto my hand, giving them a soft squeeze. I squeezed his hands back in return.

Cole kissed the top of my forehead. I giggled a bit.

"Hold on, I need to yell at Kai for spying on us." I got up and walked towards the door.

"Bye, cookie crumbs."

Translation:
