CHAPTER 19

Luke and I headed into town to the Waffle House for breakfast. We were both starving.

Luke got us a table and we didn't even need a menu, we already knew exactly what we wanted.

This girl about 10 years old comes up to our table, walking away from her mom, and looks at Luke.

"Are you Luke Bryan?" She asks.

"Yes ma'am I am!" He says smiling at her.

I love how he acts around kids, it's adorable. He's going to be an amazing daddy.

"Can I get a picture with you?" She asked politely.

"Of course darlin!" He said.

The girl's mom had given her a phone to take the picture on.

"Here, I'll take it!" I say as she hands me the phone.

Luke pulls the girl onto his lap and puts his arms around her and they smile.

I snap the picture and hand it back to her.

"Thank you!" And she runs off.

Luke didn't stop smiling for another 5 minutes.

"Well you're awfully smiley!" I say taking a sip of orange juice.

"She was just so cute and adorable" he said laughing.

We ate our breakfast and headed back to LeClaire and Tommy's.

*SUNDAY NIGHT*

It was around 7pm and me and Luke were cuddled up on the couch in the the living room looking at old photo albums.

"Wow, you were quite the cutie in 5th grade. I sooo would have had a crush on you." I said giggling.

"Oh I know you would have. But when I was in 5th grade you were in Kindergarden" he said trying not to laugh.

"Oh hush" I say.

All of a sudden the door flew open and three familiar people walked in.

"Uncle Luke!!" three kids screamed and ran to hug Luke.

"Hey y'all! What're y'all doin' here?" Luke asked hugging them.

"Just dropping by to see mama, we didn't know you were here!" One of the girls said.

"It's nice to see y'all again. You guys, this is my girlfriend Audrey. Audrey these are my nieces and nephew I was talking about. Jordan, Kris, and Til." He said.

"I am SO glad Uncle Luke finally got a girlfriend! I want a baby cousin!" Jordan yelled playfully smacking Luke's arm.

He blushed big time.

"We need to get to know you girl! How bout us three go shopping tomorrow?" Kris asks.

"Sure, I'd love that!" I say.

Tomorrow we're supposes to leave, but we can stay until after lunch.

Jordan was 18 and was graduated from high school and Kris was 16 so it'll be fun hanging out with them. Jordan is only two years younger than me.

We talked a little bit longer and then Luke and I went up to his old room like we have been the last couple night.

"Well, they obviously love you!" Luke said.

"I'm glad they do!" I said.

"I was thinking, while y'all are out shopping and getting lunch me and Til can go ridin around and fishing." Luke suggested.
