I've been feeling awful for the last month and I began to feel anxious. Although we did use protection most of the time, I was worried. I must have looked crazy at the store dropping five pregnancy tests on the counter. Now I was standing in the bathroom shaking this test like a polaroid picture hoping for good news.

I put it down and stared at it, it took a few more minutes before I let out a sigh of relief. I tossed it into the garbage can and stashed the other 4 in the nightstand; I would check again tomorrow.

"Is something bothering you Megan?" My boyfriend sat down beside me on the couch and laid his head in my lap.

"Not really, just trying to figure out when my professor will surprise me with a test."

"You seem paranoid, you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine, besides maybe we could burn off some of it."

"I'd rather keep this a fire-free zone."  He motioned to his pants.
