The wind rushed through her hair as mari flew through the sky. Mari (now going by her super hero name vixen) smashed down onto the roof where Arthur had been waiting. "Are you done?" Arthur said in impatiently "I haven't had my powers for 2 years I used to lift my car up over my head with my bare  hands to grab my keys if I dropped them, I was a friggin superhero. Now don't tell me that a quick flight across the city is to much for the king of atlantis" vixen said back. "Let's go I have a place where you won't draw to much attention to yourself." Arthur stormed off. "Guppy" vixen murmured as she followed. Arthur took vixen to an old harpoon shop down by the pier of hub city. Vixen looked around " wow subtle. Hey didn't u have a harpoon hand once?" Arthur rolled his eyes "this is where I've been operating cadmus  hadn't found ME yet but I found THEM!" Vixen hurried towards the monitors she watched in horror as cadmus agents had beat fearless heroes, powerful heroes, and took them away. "How did this happen...they...they were powerful not weaklings they could beat them any day." Arthur turned to her "the justice League has grown weak, after Diana left and became queen of themiscyra we lost one of our main fighters. Then Kent became a father, the team was weak and that's when cadmus came. Vixen thought for a moment "then why did you come for me, why not get them I've been out of the game for a while and they were always more powerful than I." Arthur turned around and opened a new tab on his computer showing a cadmus warehouse "this is where we need to go to save them." Vixen felt as though something was wrong with the whole situation, like eating week old Chinese food or when two kids are sitting at the same desk pretending to work but she shrugged it off. If it was true she could finally prove herself to batman and regain her spot on the league. "Alright then let's go!" Vixen touched her necklace and began to connect with the red feeling the power of a hawk and with a powerful leap began to fly.
