DIIIIIIIIING DOOOOOOOOONG. "I'm coming I'm coming!" Mari yelled. She quickly ran towards the door and opened it." Finally" Mari smiled as her and her old friend  exchanged hugs. "Oooo, nikki you lost weight!" Nikki smiled "awe you noticed!" Nikki was slightly over weight girl in her mid 20's who was vixens old friend from high school. "So you still modeling?" Nikki asked as they both got into mari's car. "Naw I dropped that gig a while back." Mari replied. Nikki looked off disappointed "seems like you dropped lots of things a while back." "Are you talking about our friendship? I moved that's not fair!" Nikki laughed "no I'm talking about VIXEN you were such a bad ass!" Mari looked off to the side "I was but batman didn't agree." Nikki kept going "So why don't you just keep being a super hero!?!"  "Because he took away my necklace. It was ONLY TH ORIGIN OF MY POWERS." Nikki tilted her head back " oh riiiigght." Mari clapped once. " well we're not here to talk about vixen were here to go swimming!" Mari pulled off to the side and got out and walked to the sand. The sun was hot on her face as she set up her chairs. The girls sat and talked for a while, watching boys surf. "Dang girl ,you see that wave!" Mari looked closely at the wave as a man with curly blonde hair arose out of the water. He began to walk towards them with a stern face. Mari got out of her chair, her face flushed with disbelief. "Arthur!?!" The tall man slammed his trident on the ground and began to speak. "Mari McCabe, the justice League needs your help."
