Batman sat at a table in the watchtower awaiting vixen, mari came to the table, pulled out a chair, and sat down.
"So, am I in?" Mari said with a heavy sigh. "I dont think your ready for the JUSTICE LEAGUE quite yet."
Batman said.
"I'm sorry WHAT!?!?! I WAS ON THE JUSTICE LEAGUE!!! HOW AM I NOT READY!?!?!"
vixen yelled angrily confused
"Listen you proved your worth in the battle with the clones, but the justice league is different than that, kids look up to us, adults trust us to keep them safe and I'm afriad some adults havent forgotten your 'incedint' from a few years back."
Mari looked at batman with a raised eyebrow.
"Well at least with my incedint I was beating some one, I can at least say i never broke my back!"
With that vixen stood up and violently pushed in her chair, she left watch tower and returned to hub city.

Walking down the street of hub city was like walking down crime alley of gotham, you could get mugged, raped, or killed. But mari wasn't afraid, she just found out that she could use her powers without her totem! She was unstoppable, justice league or not.
As she made her way to her house she saw a man start touching a girl, the girl pushed the man but her trapped her and continued groping. Mari burst in, "Hey bud, why dont you watch those hands!" The man turned to her and pulled a gun out. "And who the hell are you!?!" Without a word vixens eyes began to glow purple, she grabbed the gun man's arm and broke it effortlessly. The man got on his knees in pain, mari kicked him and his body flew across the street and landed in a car.
"Are you okay?" Mari asked the girl.
"Y-yes. Wait a minute... I know you, your that vixen chick who murdered that one guy on a justice league mission!" Mari thought back to what batman said about the public not forgetting what she did, was he right?
The girl continued, "But you really are a hero arent you? My name is unique I work for the hub city HUB, the news company, thank you so much for helping me I just moved from Detroit to here. I really shouldve been more careful." Mari was suprised that vixens name wasnt completely tarnished, "yeah no problem, uh you take care of yourself ok unique." She replied back while walking away.
"Yes ma'am!" Unique yelled back

As mari opened the door to her house she heard her dog chi chi start barking at her, she walked to her sofa and saw her home phone had 48 missed voice mails. She clicked the button to scroll through them, they went as so:

1. Bihh where you been, last place I saw you is the beach when we saw aqua dude and he asked you for help, call me back - love nikki

2. Sis mkay it's been months at this point, I been feeding chi chi but you really need to come home soon - love nikki

3. ISSU DEAD-love nikki

4. Hi mari, it's your boss adam, you havent been attending work recently if you dont come to your shifts I will be obligated to fire you and I wouldnt want to fire such a good worker. Please come into tomorrow

5. Mari this is week 2 you havent shown up to work, I've been very lenient with you latley! You had better come to work tomorrow with a good explanation why you've been gone unexcused for two week or YOUR FIRED!!

6. Okay mari, I'm sorry to be telling you this but I've warned you multiple times and well... this clearly isnt working anymore. You obviously have better things to be doing with your time and our establishment needs better employees to keep the company moving so well... YOUR FIRED!!!

                            *BEEP*

Mari stopped listening, she stood up and went to her closet, she opened the door and saw her orange leaotard with tiger prints on the hips and legs.
It was demolished with holes through the chest and knees.
Mari put her hand to her head and rolled her eyes. She dug through the rest of her clothes to find an orange cream track suit. "This'll have to do"
She quickly zipped up the track suit and went outside. Her eyes glew purple in the dark night and she leaped off the ground and flew across the city. She landed on a roof across the street from a break in at a bank.
She jumped down and somersaulted off the ground and tackled the shady figure. The figure side swiped vixen and left her with a large gash on her cheek. Vixen put her hand to her cheek and and was suprised to find the figure had done such damage. She bounced back and hit the figure with the power and a lion. Both vixen and the figure were hitting and scratching at eachother. With her eyes glowing vixen used the power of a monkey and flipped over the figure grabbing the mask on her way over to reveal a middle aged blonde woman wearing her necklace. Vixen was taken back and froze for a moment letting the woman to hit her in the gut and get away with the cash. As vixen got to her feet she asked herself, "Who was that and how did she get the tantu totem?"
