chapter 6

Vixen awoke in a hospital bed she looked around In fear trying to move but her body felt as thought it was made of stone. A doctor came in and began to speak to her. "Good news Mari the process is over, your cline has been made and FINALLY you'll be put out of your misery." As the doctor turned around mari gathered everything in her and stabbed him with a scalpel that was on the trey next to her. Mari crawled out of the bed and tried to walk she looked for something to eat. Next to the bed was a slice if bread and a pill, as she ate the bread she looked up at the calender. It had been months, she had been laying In the hospital for months. She needed a way out, she quickly looked around the corner and limped down the corridor. She did not have the strengths to fight so she avoided as much attention as possible. Mari walked down a large flight of stairs and opened a door revealing a sight she wish she'd never seen. She almost went back up stairs but turned once more to see the justice League in cryogenic tubes. But this wasn't her justice League, although to be quite frank it never was, but this team were different they looked the same but she knew they were different. Mari approached one of the tubes, one which held her old teammate blacklightnig and clicked on the pad connected to it. She pulled up pictures, pictures that made her sick, her stomach was in a not and all she could do was keep swallowing. With each picture came another swallow and with each swallow she felt as though her throat closed a little bit more. She almost cried bit then heard foot steps. She ran as she could, which wasn't very fast, and hid behind one of the larger crates. A tall man entered the room "all the tests are done?" The little man behind him quickly clicked on his tablet and then looked up at his superior "y-yes sir."
The tall man grew a curly upward grin on his face "Gooood. Now that we have out own justice League we can wreak havoc all over the world."
Mari gasped.
