Thea's expression became really emotionless in her actions when she kept equipping herself with her steel leaves. I continued to douse Jules with my  deluge of flowing water. The water flow kinda mixed with Sofia's hellfire. Finally, the pillars fell down and pounded the ground like there was a small earthquake. Jules finally conceded and dropped down. The black sludge slopped out of Jules body and rose up and formed like one of those shadows. "First time I've seen one of these do this kind of transformation." I said surprisingly. "You ,*pant*pant*, don't say?" Thea said laughing a bit. I saw Sofia a few inches a way from us, swaying a bit and holding her head like she has a headache. "I.....i.." she also fainted. "We're losing a lot of people here, guys." Jose said scarily. 'Josh, better have a plan right now!" Thea told me. The shadow bent it's knees like it was sitting down then it unsheathed a pike from behind it's back. " Watch out!" I cautiously said. I evaded the shadow's rushing pike attack and Jose shielded himself from it because the pike was directly headed towards him. Thea moved a few steps back then aimed for the shadow. I readied my blade again then I charged onto the shadow. I had a good look at it then it disappeared suddenly. I quickly hit Jose's shield and I think I might've dented it a bit. He uncasted back his shield and said,"Bruh." His left wrist had a small bruise but he was okay. "Come on, man. It's just a small bruise" I assured him. The shadow then appeared at Thea's back then I threw a small water dagger at it. "Nice reflexes." She complimented me. "Just keep an eye on it. It's moving so swift." I told her. Jose unleashed his gyro jets then hovered a bit higher. We were surprised to see the shadow clinging onto Jose's gyro jets. "Jose watch out!" I shouted to alert him. His gyro jets switched engines and propelled fire onto the shadow. It suddenly fell down and we heard a huge thump. "It's gotta be dead,right?" Jose shouted. "Only one way to find out." I told Thea, " Jose check on where that shadow fell!". He zoomed away from us and he was unexpectedly shot above us and he crash landed on the ground. "Auuugghh....." he groaned. He didn't look okay like the moment I bruised him.
