Mountains

The journey to the mountains wasn't really that dangerous but we did have to watch out for Shadow camps. The mountains were located north west from our house. Before there were those mountains, there were Jules' clan of miners. As in really they are miners. They mined the ground where they were and soon enough they made a quarry. Unusually, mountains grew inside that quarry and I don't think those miners were alive or buried alive or buried alive then died. The mountains grew five times higher than Mount Everest because of the ground elevation. Right now we call it as Miner's mountains and there was this secretive rumor that gems like rubies, sapphires and emeralds were inside that mountain. When we got to the foot of the mountain there was an entrance. Inside the mountain was really dark, obviously, but there were these really small mushrooms that glowed. Sofia lit a small branch and that helped us scale the mountains. Over our hike of the interior of the mountain were small openings that looked like the starter pack for a person living in an apartment. No seriously, there was hatch where some rotten food are, a rugged bed and some candles. "Looks like this guy's living under a bridge" Jose snickered. "Nah, it can't be right? They can't be alive. They've been buried alive" Sofia searched the hollow small cave. We continued our hike up all the way to the peak. "Shh, shh. Hear that? The heck is that." I asked curiously. Suddenly a huge boulder hit Jose's head and he fell down at the bottom of the mountain. The mountain has this spiraling stairs all the way up."Oh,crap! Jose!" Thea shouted. We looked up and we saw huge silhouettes carrying boulders."Take cover!" I shouted. Large boulders came raining down from the mountain. The mountain was greatly shaking and dust particles were flying everywhere.
