Bombarded

We all looked in front where Thea pointed. All the sludge were starting to accumulate into one entity. The entity spoke in a vile manner, "It's good to be back". We all took one step backward. "Who is she?" Arcilla asked in confusion. "A-aleczia..." I stuttered. She was complete. Her crown was at the top of her head, glistening with dark and eldritch orbs. Her dreadful aura made us terrified. Arcilla asked again,"What is her affiliation?". "The.....darkness" I said. Arcilla quickly came out from our  crowding group. "Aleczia, your reign ends her" Arcilla spoke bravely. His hands began to shimmer like that of a sun that shot a beam right in front of Aleczia. "Arcilla, no!" Ysa shouted. It was too late. The light beam engulfed Aleczia like an island in the ocean. Aleczia disappeared from where she was. "Y-you did it" Jules said in relief. Suddenly more particles of sludge formed Aleczia again. "I pity your strength, stranger" she said. Jose quickly placed his shield in front of us and a dark spot was suddenly appearing on the center of his shield. Jose shouted in pain. He took back the shield and burnt spots where everywhere on his skin. His two arms were rotting with ignited cinders. He knelt down then Aleczia ran near him. Ian acted swiftly with Frostbite on his right hand and he blocked Aleczia's blade that was about to strike Jose. "I fancy your blade, ninja. I would like to trade that blade for your death" she laughed. "Not this time" Ian said furiously. He parried her blade then they start to fight off. Ysa put up her stars again and started to shoot Aleczia. At first Aleczia wasn't disturbed by her attacks but after Ian blasted of by a beam, Aleczia unleashed pillars of darkness spikes appearing from the ground by these shadows. I pushed Ysa from where she stood and I also unleashed my own pillars of water. Both the water and the darkness spikes clashed resulting into an explosion. Smoke were everywhere and we all couldn't see. The others were all coughing. ML wasn't anywhere to be found. I told everyone to run back to the tree house. Ian was just standing, looking at something were there wasn't anything interesting. He looked serious at what he was staring at. I touched his shoulder then I quickly unsheathed Frostbite. "Ian, hey, easy" I told him. He felt relieved then he put back Frostbite. "Let's go" he told me. We all quickly retreated back to our tree house riding on Ysa's star platforms. We landed exactly in front of the tree house's lawn. "Yo, what the hell was that?" Ysa complained. "Obviously, we can't beat Aleczia without JV" Ian scolded her. "Who is JV that you speak about?" Arcilla asked us curiously. "He's like you except more sun ascended" Jules informed him. I left the group who were all arguing about a lot of stuff. I entered the house but I left the lights off and I entered my room. My room was illuminated a bit by the light reaching in through my window. I began to dig through in my closets and drawers. Deep inside in one of the drawers o the side of my bed was a small pebble. I felt it on my hand and it was emanating with gushing power. It had a tiny lemniscate engraving on the center of the pebble. "Infinity...." I whispered to myself.

{Ian's view}

"Guys! We still need JV!" Sofia exclaimed. "Why do we need him? We already got....us" Lexter said. "We're no match for Aleczia, JV. Without him, we don't stand a chance" Thea informed him. Everybody was all bitter about everything we had said. We were all quiet. "We did it once. Can't we do it again?" I asked them. "We beat Aleczia because JV summoned the-" Jules stopped. Thea had started to heal Jose and he was already conscious. As Jules stopped everybody also did. I started to listen. I sensed the waters near us and it started to ripple. "There's something coming" I whispered. Everyone readied their weapons and arsenal. I gripped onto Frostbite's handle. The cool and frigid air seeped out of Frostbite's sheath. Everything was quiet. I sensed something that was incoming in a swift pace. "Josh!!" I called out to him and I looked back at the tree house. The tree house suddenly exploded in dark flames and Josh was in it
