It's been 8 days since I published My Hater, My Lover, and it's hit the 100 view mark! I just wanted to give a really big thank you to all those that read up until now. It means so much to me that you gave me the opportunity to entertain you with my story.
As a way of giving thanks, I thought I'd share with how I came up with the idea for my Hater, my lover. I was reading this really great manga about a guy who used to be really fat and was bullied but later, when he loses so much weight, the bully falls in love with him and they start dating. It was heart reaching and beautiful and I wanted to write my own version.
I am of hispanic descent, and I went to an upper class French school and I was bullied, so it comes from a dark place when I write this but I felt, if one is willing to write about pleasure, one must also explore one's pain.
I hope you have enjoyed the story up until this point! Again, thank you so much! Nothing makes a novel come to life the way readers can!
