Chapter Nine

(Lilly's Dream State)

My eye's slowly fluttered open. The warmth from the early sun rising met my ice cold skin. It was a struggle to open my eye's, as they were crusted up with the remainder of last night's sleep. I slowly moved my stiff neck to the side, taking in my surrounding's.

"Hello" I hear an unknown voice say, my eye's widen as I try to see where the voice came from. Then I could hear a crunching noise, like when you walk on freshly fallen leave's. "Well what're you doing on the ground silly" it was a girl's voice, whoever she was she was young. Wait did she say ground, am I really on the ground. I try sitting up but it's as if there was a weight on me, my body wouldn't move.

"W-who are you" I say my voice nearly a whisper.

"I don't understand why Christian insisted on bringing you here" said the unknown girl. My heart stopped, did she say Christian. "Judging from your face right now, I take it you remember my brother". Her brother ?. I slowly used what little strength I had to sit up, my body ached. I felt like some had beaten the shit out of me. I grabbed onto a nearby tree to help me pull myself to my feet. I looked up to to see the girl, she looked to be the age of fourteen or so, she had strawberry blonde hair that hung down to her waist in ringlets. "You're very weak, I wonder how long you've been here" she asked, observing the state in which I was in.

"Where am I" I asked her.

"You're between the living and the dead right now" she said.

"You mean like purgatory" I said horrified.

"A little bit" she said.

"Saddie where are you" came a man's voice.

"That's Christian you gotta go. you can't let him get you" she said, with a scared expression on her face.

"But"

"Go" she said, and with that I started running. I don't know where I was going, all I knew is that I need to get far away from there and fast, if the past was to prove anything is that Christian was fast. I kept running till I came across a opening to a cave, running over to it and slipped in. I was waist deep in freezing water, I waded over to a rock that was big enough for me to hide behind. Then that's when I heard it, the sound of someone stepping into the water, the water rippled around me. No, I thought, please don't be him, anyone but him.

"Oh Lilly" Christian's said in a tantalizing voice. I placed my hand over my mouth, so he couldn't hear my breathing. "I know you're in here, you may be able to run but you can't hide from me love" you could hear him wading through the water, he sounded like he was on the other side of the cave. Maybe I can slip by him, I thought. I looked around trying to see him but it was so dark in here I couldn't see a damn thing. I could still hear him on the the other side, here goes nothing I thought. I slowly moved away from the rock and made my way to the opening of the cave, I was almost there when I was forcefully  yanked back by my hair.

"Ah" I screamed out, it felt as if he was going to rip my hair out from my scalp.

"Oh shut up" he said letting go of my hair and grabbing my arm in an iron grip. "Come on" he said dragging me out of the cave, once we were outside he pushed me onto the ground. "Look at me" he said in a demanding tone, I timidly looked up at him. He had to be at least six foot four, he had blonde hair that looked white. The thing that stood out the most was his black eye's, they looked like Michael's had that night.

"What d-do you want with me" I said as tears started to roll down my face, I couldn't hold it in no more, I was at my breaking point

"Oh my dear" he said in a voice that dripped with nothing but pure evil. "There's a lot I have planned for you" he said with a smirk on his face. That's the last thing I saw before everything went black, that smirk, that disgusting smirk will be forever imprinted in my head.
