By the time the doctors were finished with their test I was exhausted. They wheeled me back to my room where Brii, Blake, and Peter were waiting for me.
"Hey Lilly," Brii said walking up to the bed.
"Hi," I said in a weak voice.
"You have no idea how much we've missed you," Peter said.
"Especially Blake" Peter said with a grin, I looked over to see Blake blushing, as a small smile appeared on my face.
"Where's my parents?" I asked.
The three of them looked at each other before turning to me, giving me a sympathetic look.
"I called them, but they never showed up," Peter said.
"Have they been here at all?" I asked knowing the answer already.
"Just once," Blake said.
I hated my parents, I was pretty sure the feeling was mutual, to be honest. Daddy worked all the time and when he was home it was always unpleasant, he'd always yell at me and momma.
Then he'd go back to work and I would be left alone with my bitch of a Mother, she'd always nitpick at everything I did. Nothing I did was ever good enough for them, they'd always find something wrong. I was brought out of my thought's when I felt a hand on mine, I looked down to see Blake's hand on mine.
"But we've been here the whole time," he said.
"Thank you," I said.
"You're our best friend Lilly, we're always going to be here," Brii said.
"I wish Maria and Michael were here," I said, as they just looked at me.
"H-How do you know?" Peter asked.
"You might want to sit down, cause this is going to be a long story," I said as they took a seat.
I explained to them about how Christian had me locked away in purgatory, and how Michael saved me, also how Maria showed up, and what Sadie's father told me about how we have to burn the house down.
"That explains it," Brii said.
"Explains what?" I asked confused.
"You said that Christian had you locked up and was torturing you right?" she asked.
"Yeah."
"While you were in your coma, you were having these bruises pop up and no one could figure out where they were coming from," She said.
"So you're saying that the beatings my spirit form was going through that my physical form was also able to feel it?" I asked.
"That's the only explanation," Peter said.
"So we have to burn the house down?" Blake asked.
"Yes it's the only way to set them free," I said.
"Blake and I will burn the house down," Peter said.
"No don't go please," I said to them.
"But we have to," Blake said.
"I don't want to lose anyone else that I love," I said wiping tears away.
"Lilly it's the only way," Blake said.
"I know," I said. Blake leaned down and kissed my forehead.
"We'll be back," Blake said walking away.
"Rest ok," Peter said kissing my cheek before leaving.
"They'll be fine," Brii said sitting on the bed next to me.
"I sure hope your right," I said crying.
Brii hugged me up and comforted me as I cried, all I could think about is what if they don't make it, I don't think I could handle losing anyone else.
