I was laying awake, listening to the silence of the world and staring blankly at my ceiling whilst thoughts raced through my head when a faint noises could be heard from Scott's room.

I could hear him walking around and the slights rustling of clothes being moved, I slipped out of my bed and threw my hoodie on has it was too chilly for my shorts and tank top. I tip toed towards his bedroom, and without knocking it I opened his door not allowing him to sneak away. There he stood, speechless and fully clothed. I gave him a look to ask what he was doing and he refused to tell me.

"Well? Where are you going?" I asked, and after a long time of insisting for him to tell me, he cracked.

"Me and Stiles are going to find out more about Malia." He said, folding his arms and I grinned.

"I'm coming." I said, I didn't let him object, because I had already left to get changed. I threw on a pair of skinny jeans and an oversized sweater, I slipped my handgun into my belt, just incase. I'm still unsure how to use my powers so if I need to fight, a gun will be easier to figure out. I walked back into Scott's room, but he was nowhere to be seen and his window was wide open. I rolled my eyes as I followed his route down the drain pipe, I knew he'd go to stiles, so I'd just go take a look in the woods, which I knew they were going to.

I began my search, I turned the torch on my phone and began walking around aimlessly. I hoped to find something so that Scott can't have a go at me for helping when I'm unwanted, but there was nothing here but trees and rocks. I then heard a loud howl, which made me turn my head. I've been around Scott enough now to know that that was a coyote not a wolf, even though I still haven't heard Scott's famous howl yet. I carried on searching when I came face to face with a coyote, it was small but looked like it could do a lot of damage. I put all my focus into it, but I closed my eyes tight and when I opened them they turned purple just like I had practiced. The coyote stopped snarling at me and revealed its blue eyes and then I knew.

"Malia?" I whispered, but she ran away and I knew there was no point in me chasing her. I carried on walking when I bumped into someone, causing me to draw my gun and hold it against their forehead. I heard a unmanly scream and I already knew who it was.

"Stiles? For gods sake you gave me a heart attack." I hissed, my gun still against his temple and he looked up at it.

"I gave you a heart attack!?" He said whilst pulling the gun down, I laughed slightly and apologised.

"What're you doing out here?" Scott asked from behind me and then he saw the gun. "And what the hell are you doing with that?"

I rolled my eyes at him and stuffed the gun back into my belt, letting it be hidden once again.

"One you left without me so I thought id do it alone, two I have it to protect me because I still haven't controlled my powers properly and three you don't own me Scott." I said, crossing my arms, being stubborn as always. All I heard in reply was a sigh and I knew that I had won that little disagreement. I smiled smugly and let my arm loop with Stiles' as we carried on walking around.

"I found Malia." I brought up after a moment causing them to both stop abruptly.

"You saw her to?" Scott asked, his eyes were wider than usual and I nodded.

"Yeah she was a coyote, I flashed her my purple eyes and she showed me her blue ones, then she ran away." I explained and Scott said that's the same that happened to him. Stiles was leading us to the den and when I saw it I felt like crying, it was full of Malia's old things, like a teddy bear and her coat. We knew what we had to do next, so Stiles called his dad, because he wanted this case solved and we were going to help him. Whilst we were waiting I felt something drip on my face and then Stiles looked at me with wide eyes.
