I was sleeping in Scott's chair, when his phone began to ring, awaking is both. My eyes still squinting, I picked up Scott's phone and handed it to him.

"It's Derek?" Scott said, rubbing his tired eyes and holding the phone to his ear. He croaked our a greeting, before almost immediately waking up, his eyes widening and his boy getting out of his warm bed.

"The Raven egg is hatching!" Scott said enthusiastically whilst throwing some clothes on and I copied the action. It was strange to hear the word Raven and it not be about the girl whom had made so many people happy, instead we were talking about what we used to when she was away. Wolves, magic and my rejection from girls.

We left quietly, wanting to avoid waking Melissa who had also been having a rough time sleeping. We didn't want to wake her up so she took another 3 hours awake, thinking of her only daughter. I can't even imagine how rough it is for her, I mean I've never seen the Mcall's so upset before. Once we had arrived at the woods, there was a slight crack in the egg, however it wasn't even moving, or cracking anymore. Peter and Derek stood in the same position, arms folded, eyebrows furrowed. Then Kira and Lydia arrived, and they began observing the egg. Everyone was confused apart from Lydia.

"This is something called pre-hatch. Many eggs have slight activity such as a crack, thus preparing it to hatch. It's usually a few days before it hatches for real." Lydia explained, and we all nodded. None of us were disappointed, because all of us had something much more important on our minds. Tomorrow was Ravens funeral, and we couldn't think straight.

I woke up the next day, sunlight actually pouring through the window this time. It was a nice day, I mean of course it would be, it was Ravens funeral and the weather would be anything but dull, because she never was. I was standing in front of a full length mirror, my black suit on my body and all I could hear was her voice, her beautiful voice in my ear and her dainty hand on my shoulder.

"Ooo check you out, maybe I should rethink my idea of you being so dorky, maybe your image should be Christian Grey or something." Raven would've said and I would've blushed and laughed. I then felt a real hand on my shoulder, causing me to jump as Lydia appeared beside me in the mirror.

"Sorry." She said softly and I smiled slightly at her, telling her it was okay. She removed her hand from my shoulder, she was wearing a black skater dress and had a black hat on, a bit of lace covering her face.

"Everyone is downstairs, are you ready?" Lydia asked and I straightened out my blazer and sighed with a nod, before turning to her.

"Don't worry about me, is Scott ready?" I said and her face told me everything, he was probably a state, I needed to go downstairs and make sure he's okay. Lydia let her hand intertwine with mine and i couldn't help but feel guilty, even if it was only for comfort. There I saw many sad faces. Lydia, Derek, Peter, Deaton, Melissa even their father had showed up. I knew that these weren't the only ones whom would be there, she had so many friends. After a short while, Scott arrived downstairs, Kira and his arms linked. His eyes were red from crying and I walked over to him, pulling him into a brotherly hug, one neither of us wanted to release from. Out of all the days, all the monsters and wolves and people we have come across. This was the hardest thing I had ever had to have done, it felt like I couldn't breathe, i felt nauseas and scared and alone, despite he room full of people. We drove to the opening in the woods, the very opening in which many of us had met, shared memories and even almost died. We knew that she'd want it in a place of meaning and memories, therefore we did it here.

The vicar began the funeral, and I couldn't focus, I was practically crying buckets, but so was everyone else. Eventually, it got to the part where we had to say a few words and I listened to what everyone was saying, before Scott stood up.
