I have a book in my hand today,
A little dainty thing and oh! So grey
The dust covered front was embedded with letters
That look tarnished as if it was underwaters.'Oh! You stupid creature,' my mother had yelled
When she had seen the little dainty thing I held
She screamed until my ears bled
And I getting a chance had fled.My father remained unscathed by the whole event,
For he was not a person to lament. My little sister had come rushing down
Her eyes lit up mischieviously brown
Her wicked smile arouse the fear in me
While my conscious kicked as if to say 'flee'I ran to my room and closed the door
And I feared her not anymore
'What an adventure we had' I said
And then came back the dread.I looked at the book hard
Trying to find a way to tell my parents its my school report card!!!!_____________________________
A little smile on your face! A better day ahead. Being optimistic is difficult? Not really; look around and be thankful. To whom? Whoever it is supposed to be.

PoetryMy thoughts in verses is a bunch of poems that I have written at various stages of my life. Whether for completion or for leisure, all of it has a bit of my crude essence. *The picture on the cover does not belong to me. I do not take any credits.
