Tessa POV

I walked downstairs as Jake kicked the bags that lay at the bottom of the stairs for a good few months now. "Chill Jake." He did not like that. He glared at me, "Chill? Chill!? Are you fucking serious Tessa? Telling me to chill. No I fucking won't, those fucking idiots couldn't get their goddamn stuff and then leave and live with my brother. Now my brother hates me and you think I can chill? Try that one more time Tessa and you'll be next." He glared at me in anger and I stared at him with anger and shock.

"W-what?" was all I could stutter. That only seemed to get him angrier, "You heard me." I was scared to be completely honest with you. After everything that had happened with the others, Jake has been angrier and shittier. Why did I even stay with him? I should've stayed with Alissa.

I looked at Jake angry and went to grab the bags. "What are you doing?" Jake asked, glaring at me. I smiled so sweet, "Helping my true friends. How bout you?" He looked unpleased, "then go join them." I smiled, "Maybe I will." I started taking everything to my car, "Have fun with those pussys." Jake smirked, "Oh I will." I dropped all the bags into my car and then started packing stuff in my suitcase.

----

I started dragging my suitcase out, "Where are you going!?" I turned around and Chad looked at me upset. I felt somewhat bad, but I couldn't take it anymore. "I'm leaving." I waited impatiently as Chad looked at me in shock. "Why!?" I shot him a look. "Why? Oh my God Chad." I stepped closer to him, "Don't even act like you don't see what's going on. You hate it just as much as I do. I'm leaving, you can decide for yourself." I scoffed in his face. He looked at me, shocked and I kept on dragging my suitcase out leaving Chad in shock.

I put it in the trunk and started driving. I was unsure of where to go. I went around a corner and randomly parked in front of target. I walked in and decided to just get a few things before going and booking for an apartment.

I grabbed a basket and went to the girl care isles. I threw a hair brush in the basket along with some elastics. I grabbed some girly things and some new makeup along with clothing. Once I finished I took it up the cashier and paid for it.

----

I walked up to the apartment building and made my way over to the front desk. There was a guy working behind the desk who seemed to be around my age and he looked up at me, eyes widening. "Are you Tessa Brooks!?" I giggled, "Yes indeed I am" I joked. He smiled, "Wow! I'm a big fan and I can't believe this is happening.." he was starting to trail off. "Well thank you! But unfortunately I'm looking to book an apartment." I looked down at my hands and bit my lip. "Oh I'm so sorry! Let me get you set up right now!" He smiled and I returned it.

He walked over to a phone that was latched onto the back wall and dialed in some numbers before putting it up to his ear. He smiled up at me waiting for someone to answer the phone.

"Hi this is Terry, and I was wondering if there's any open rooms right now?"

The room fell silent for a few seconds before Terry spoke up again. "Okay, thank you, I'll roll her up right now?" He said bye and hung up the phone.

"We have a few open rooms for you to choose from, but if you want a view, I would suggest room 314." He smiled, pleased with himself and looked up at me. I smiled back, "Thank you so much!" We exchanged numbers before I brought all my bags and suitcases up.

----

I finally had everything set up temporarily and decided to call Savannah.

"Hello?" I smiled, "Hey Sav.." "what's wrong? Spill." I laughed. "I left Team10 and I have your guy's stuff at my new apartment." I heard Savannah squeal, "REALLY!??" I smiled, "Yes!!" "I'm coming, okay?" "Okay."

I texted Savannah all the directions and laid back.

---

I heard a knock on my door, causing me to leave my thoughts and head over to it. I opened it to be greeted with a hug from Savannah, "TESSAAAAA" I laughed and hugged back tightly.

"I missed youuuu!" I smiled, "I missed you tooooo." I mocked her. I moved aside to allow Savannah to enter the apartment. "Woah.." was all I heard as my back faced Savannah.

I turned the lock and turned around. "Where are the bags?" Savannah asked after taking in the breathtaking view of Los Angeles. I smiled and lead her to the guest room where I stored the other bags. "OOOOOO YAYYY!" Savannah squealed as she walked over to the bags as if they were her children. I giggled and leaned against the door frame.

----

"That was the last one." I hugged Savannah, "Bye I'll miss you lovebug." She giggled, "I'll miss you too T." She stuck her bottom lip out like a little girl who just dropped her ice cream. Savannah waved before climbing into the Uber in front of me. I waved back, smiling.

I stood and watched until the Uber was out of my eyesight and walked back into the apartment building. Terry was sat at the desk typing things into the computer, looking up at me with a smile as I walked by.

"Goodnight Tessa!" I smiled back, "Goodnight Terry! Thank you for everything today." He nodded and continued, leaving me to return to my previous thoughts.

---

I snuggled into my blanket, leaning more into the large floor carpet Terry lended me as I took in the events of today. I felt happy.

Happiest I've felt on a long time.
