Wednesday.

"Half way there," I remind myself, "You can do this." I brushed my hair and tied it into a bun on the top of my head. I wiped all the makeup my sister had put on me yesterday. I never remembered at night.

I walked in the living room to see my sister passed out on the couch. I wrote her a note and placed it next to her.

"Hey, please don't bother me at school unless it's an emergency.

 Here's $20, do some tourist-y things.

Arianna"

I pulled some money out of my wallet and made my way out the door. I had to take the stairs since the elevator was broke. I pulled headphones out and listen to music on my way to school. I kind of walked to the beat without being too obvious. The last two days had been so strange that I just wanted to scream the lyrics. But, I stayed normal.

Approaching the building, I was suddenly anxious. I kept thinking about my appearance and what Josh was going to think. Would he think I looked bad? I looked so nice yesterday thanks to my sister that I hadn't even tried today. I opened the door and it wasn't just Josh anymore. The guys from earlier in the week were also sitting on the stage. They were laughing and smiling together. Josh's eyes met mine as the breeze from outside blew my messy blonde hair to the side.

"Arianna, Hey!" Josh yelled from the stage. "You remember the guys, right?" I sat there for a second trying to remember the names from Monday, but nothing was coming to me.

"Yeah," I stood below the stage looking up at Josh, I wondered how many girls were dying to be where I was at the moment. "Could you guys stand on stage where you play? I'd like to get an idea of where everything will be placed." I watched them shuffle around each other until Josh held his hands at his sides.

"Look good? Do you want us to pose?" Josh started flailing his arms around as the guys around him joined in. "Like this maybe?" He just kept making a fool of himself as I and my other classmates laughed at them.

"Looks great," I giggled as I walked to the back of the auditorium. I quickly pulled out my phone and opened Google. I couldn't remember what the name of their band was, so I just looked up Josh Ramsay. Right as I found the other members, I felt a hand around me.

"What in the world are you searching?" Josh said while laughing at me.

"Sh!" I yelled at him, "I don't want to look like an idiot."

"Well,"

"Don't even finish that sentence. I really can't remember their names." I sighed.

"So, you thought instead of asking me, the person that's known them for years, that you would just look them up?"

"I didn't want you to make fun of me." I protested.

"Too late," He laughed at me. "Mike, Matt, Ian." He said pointing to the faces that matched. I had a flashback to Monday morning and it all came back to me. I sighed toward Josh and rolled my eyes.

"At least help me take these XLR to the front." I said picking up the coiled cables.

"Sure thing."

After spending an hour or two setting the band up to play, I took a seat in the booth to get more of a grand picture.

"Play something!" I yelled from the back.

"What's your favorite song of ours?" The one with the mohawk said into the microphone, Mike I believe.
