THIS IS A PSA!
for anyone who has been reading carefully, you may have noticed that I published an update saying that Micheal and Austyn were hanging out instead of going on a date. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO THE STORY LINE! I am not having them dating right away, it will come later though, don't worry!
"You first!" I quickly blurt.
"No, you can go first." He says, being the gentleman he is.
"I got accepted for another round of auditions!" I squeal.
"I got accepted into the school!" He says, his tone casual, but his eyes say something else.
"Congrats!" I say smiling, looking at the little scoops in his messy blond hair.
He shrugs it off, "You too! When are they?"
"April 3rd or 10th." I rattle off, unaware they stuck in my mind.
"I will probably move after graduation."
"So will I." I rally
"Does your Dad know?" He asks suspiciously.
"Do your parents know?" I counter.
"No." We say at the same time.
"I will tell him tomorrow, that's the next time he is free." I say quietly. Micheal timidly slips his hand in mine, giving it a light squeeze.
"This could be something amazing, we could live together in the city. You could show me around! Maybe your dad would even let me stay with you...? Split an apartment cost or something."
"It's a great possibility. I know he wants to stick around here for a bit longer and open up another restaurant, so I might be heading back alone."
"Then it could be just us." He murmurs. "Alone, in an empty apartment."
"uh yep."
__________
"This looks amazing." I say, gushing over my fettuccine at Oh Spaghetti! It's this cute, family style italien restaurant.
"You haven't even tried their gelato, I still can't believe you have been here for four months and not have come here." He comments, shoving some fish/pasta dish in his mouth. I have never been a fan of fish.
"So, what's it like being a soccer superstar?" I ask teasingly.
"A lot harder than you think it is." He sighs, running his hand through is hair.
"Oh I think it looks hard, all that running." I pfff it off. "I will run to the bathroom and back during a commercial break." Micheal laughs and I take it as a good sign.
__________"You know, any girl would kill to be friends with me." He says while signing off the check.
"I know. But you aren't like that, I can tell." I say, licking my spoon.
"How do you know?" He asks, pushing it.
"I just do." My lips slide off the spoon and turn into a smile. "I have a sixth since when someone fakes it."
"Oh really?" He asks suspiciously.
"Yep." I say smugly, enjoying my new confidence.
