"its so annoying that we have to leave already." I frown, looking to the window. My study book sits in front of me untouched. I cant help looking at Micheals hand which is a few inches away from mine. I only dart my eyes tho, I don't want to be obvious...

"we will be back in like a few months." Micheal says looking at me.

"Yea, but it isn't the same you know?" I sigh. "Plus I have that stupid audition to worry about."

"Don't worry." He gives me his happy Micheal smile. "I bet you got in, how could you not have?"

I groan, "I hate promises, especially ones you cant be 100% positive about."

"Well I keep all my promises." He grins. "Whats wrong with knowing someone is good enough?"

I sigh, done with this conversation. "I guess nothing is wrong with that." I lean my head against the plane seat, titled to Micheal.

I am a mess back home, my luggage sits untouched and I just stare blankly at the ceiling, hair messily spread out around me.

"Austy???" Graceful calls. She busts through my door. "Hey!" She comes over and gives me a hug.

"Hi!" I reply, getting up to return the hug.

"So... how was it?"

"It was fun, but I think I am having major boy issue right now." I groan, flopping back on my bed.

"Why don't you bake and talk it out?"

"Okay..." I grudgingly get up.

"Maybe... like change too?"

"Oh." I look down at my sweats. "Ew."

"Yea, get changed into leggings and then we can bake and sort out your issues." We giggle. "Also Owen is hosting a party if you want to go."

"Sure, sounds like a plan."

"I just..." I pause, folding the batter again. "I think I like him."

"Squee!" Graceful claps her hands and smiles.

"But Micheal is going to be my roommate... I cant like him."

"Well, why not?" Graceful dips her finger into the cupcake batter.

"What if it didn't work out? Then we would be stuck with each other for the rest of the year." I huff frustrated. "Go wash your hands or get a spoon!" I yell teasingly at Graceful, who grins before rummaging around for a spoon.

"Well I guess you guys would deal with it and move on."

"Its not that easy..."

"It kinda is, chances are you won't see each other much anyways, so if it doesn't work out you act like civil roommates for six months and move on with your lives."

"I guess so." I pull out my piping bags. "Maybe I am overreacting."

"You know, my mom always tells me that God has a plan for us. He must have brought you guys together, in this one in a million situation for something. You just have to figure out what that something is." Graceful beams, always optimistic. My heart aches at the relationship she has with her mom and how I wish I had something like that. "Thats what I told myself when you arrived here and that is what I am telling myself now that you are leaving."
