The boy next door || Shawn Mendes

The next morning you woke up to your school alarm.  You got ready listening to fall out boy. You looked around the house and of course no one was home. 

Cas

Hey, Shawn can you drive me to school again?

Mendes

Sure I will be over in a few minutes.

Before Shawn came you ate breakfast quickly. When you heard a knock on your door you knew it was Shawn. You then got into Shawn's car and were happy cause his car was warm. 

"So why aren't your parents not home all of  a sudden?"

"They are always working it sucks but they are getting money so."

"You can come to my house. I can even show you some of the new music I'm working on."

"I'm actually pretty excited for Shawn Mendes three." 

"Yea me too can't believe I'm already on album number three."

"It's crazy."

A few minutes later then Shawn dropped you off at school. Destiny had that look on her face like she thought something was going on between you and Shawn. 

"Is my Casey dating Shawn Mendes?"

"One: don't say that so loud also two: no I am not he's just been my ride to and from school over the past few days."

"Whatever you say Cas."

The long school day then started. You got homework in half your classes and had to do research which was just great if you didn't feel like having a breakdown. After school Destiny waited with you until Shawn came. Shawn then showed up and you got in his car.

"I'm going to ask such a dad question but how was school?"

"It was shit I want to die I have homework in half my classes and have to do research on something."

"Well, I got you hot chocolate again."

"Thanks."

When Shawn dropped you off you thanked him for the ride. The second you got into your house you went to your room and started doing your homework. Halfway through your homework, you had a breakdown. 

Mendes

You know I can see you crying from your window? I'll be over in a few minutes. 

Great Shawn has now seen you cry. He didn't even knock he just came into your house and hugged you when he got to your room.

"You know you didn't have to come here right?'

"I wasn't going to see you sob and not do anything."

"But I'm fine."

"That is a lie. What can I do to help?"

"In the kitchen downstairs I have candy and in the living room I have Disney movies if you can grab the candy and a Disney movie that would be great."

Shawn then took off downstairs. You were hoping he would find the candy but a few minutes later he came back with both.

"Bless you found the candy too."

"Yep."

You then started playing the Disney movie while eating candy with Shawn. For the first time all week you felt happy.
