Did he think he was the Kim Joowon, the male lead of Secret Garden?
But honestly, my heart was beating really fast and it felt like it was about to pop out of my chest. I avoided every eye contact with him.
Yoongi sat up again and this time he started speaking, "When did you become this pretty? Last year? 2 years ago?"
I felt heat rushing towards my cheeks as his gorgeous face inched nearer to me.
"3 years ago? 18 years ago?"
Was he doing this on purpose, because he succeeded in making me flustered.
"Erm. 18 years ago so can you move your face away now?"
He slowly shifted his face backwards.
I could see the fire in Jungkook's eyes as he observed us from afar.
After the countless number of situps and pushups, we were finally dismissed as class finally ended.
"So on the scale of 10, how much are you enjoying that magical moment I've given you?" Jen elbowed me.
"Isn't it obvious enough from the colour of my face?" I replied as I hid my face behind my hands.
"Hey, pretty girl. Wanna have lunch over at my house?" Jungkook asked over the phone.
The call was on speaker mode because Jennie being Jennie, she was a busybody.
'Say yes. I've got to watch over cheerleading practice today.' Jen mouthed out the words and I easily understood her.
I rolled my eyes at her.
"What do you say, pretty girl? I've been turned down countless times already."
"O-ok then. I'll meet you at the carpark in ten."
Jennie helped me end the call as I dry my hair using a towel.
"Hmm. First date? Fill me in later." She smirked at me.
I threw my towel at her. "I will. Don't worry."
We were talking about what outfit I should wear later for the game (in the midst of packing our bag) when Irene and Seulgi approached us.
"Hey bitch, I heard that you're going to my baby's house later. I urge you to not go because who knows what might happen after that date."
Seulgi stood behind her and kept mouthing out the word 'sorry' as Irene sent her threat at me before they left the shower room.
"That woman has to chill. Jungkook is nobody's. Let's go before you're late for your *ahem* date." Jennie emphasised to get under Irene's nerves.
Jen left for the field while I made my way to my locker to pack for the weekends. I was closing my locker door when I was surprised to see Yoongi hiding behind the door all these while.
"Hi. Not going home yet?" I asked to break the awkward silence between us.
"Look, we aren't supposed to be doing this but-"
"But what?" I look at him, all confused.
Yoongi heaved a sigh and looked deeply into my eyes, I could tell that he was trying to restrain himself?
He leaned nearer to me as he flattened his hands above me, trapping me under him.
"Is everything okay? Or is there something on my face?" I asked him.
Things were burning up between us.
"I am pretty sure I'm gonna regret doing this." He said in an alluring voice.
"Eh what? Are you alrig-"
And there it was. He smashed his lips against mine.
Yoongi let out a relieved sigh and my heart rate immediately skyrocket. It was long before I kissed someone like this.
I dropped my bag on the floor as I responded to his kiss. My hands travel up his messy damped hair and pulled him in, to deepen the kiss. Our breathing quicken and the pace of our kiss doubled as I wrapped my legs around his waist. He pushed my body against my locker and his tongue was requesting for permission to enter my mouth when my mobile phone rang.
It was the call from Jungkook that broke our kiss.
"Look. I'm sorry for doing this. You should get going, he is waiting for you. Enjoy your date and I'll see you tonight at the games."
Seoul Soul: Regrets. It's either you avoid the feeling of remorse or be glad the word 'regret 'exist so people like Mr Bad Boy or New Girl can use it as an excuse when explaining.
Nayeon stood rooted to the ground as her shivering hand slowly made way up to her lips. They did not just K-I-S-S-E-D.
