He did not just- Just kissed Seulgi.
On the lips.
Sadness overwhelming me. I told myself that he was doing this on purpose and to quickly leave the hallway after retrieving my notebook. I didn't want to show him I was affected.
I don't have anything against Seulgi. But Yoongi kissing me a few days ago then now to Seulgi? Yoongi is confusing and I am conflicted.
I took my leave and went straight home. I excused myself, lying that I wasn't feeling well. Afterall, I wasn't really lying with my heartache.
After hiding alone under my blanket for hours, Jennie barged into my room.
"I've heard it all. He kissed a girl, named Seulgi." She said it nonchalantly as she settled on my couch.
"He kissed me just a few days ago and now? What is he trying to do? I hate him!"
"Hate's too strong of a word but if you insist that you hate him..." Jen brushed my remark off. "You just hate the fact that you love him"
My conflicted mind couldn't comprehend. I sat up on my bed and stared at Jennie, my best friend. They said you're not supposed to lie to your best friends or hide anything from them. But, I am unsure on how to start on the topic. "I- I don't think I love him. But I don't wish to lie to him either?"
"Lie about what?" Jennie asked, confused.
I took a deep breath, "Nothing."
The atmosphere was awkward and iffy. Jennie looked at me with a prompting look, awaiting for me to continue the conversation. "Nothing, I swear. You're my best friend, why would I lie to you? Now would you grab a milk for me from my refrigerator?" I pursed my lips together as I gather all the strength in me to reply Jennie.
"If you insists. Just so you know, Yoongi hates liars." Jennie concluded as she leaves my room.
