I am always there to help and comfort you whenever you have problems.

I am always there beside you and start conversations with you whenever I know that you want someone to talk to.

I am always there to guide you each step of the way.

I am always there to take care of you whenever you're sick or ill.

I am always there to cheer you up whenever you are sad.

I am always there waiting for you to look back at me even though I know you seem to be looking at somebody else.

I am always there sitting beside you silently, thinking if you could at least feel what I feel about you.

I am always there, waiting for a million years just for you to listen to what I am going to tell you.

I am always there beside you, waiting for an opportunity to tell you how much I love you but... no matter how long I have waited, you never did, and I painfully accepted them all even though I know it will hurt me even more.

When the clock strikes nine, should I say "I Love You"? Or should I just shut my mouth and be happy at only being your friend... Well, what's the use of telling you how much I love you if ... you already love someone else.

But I will and always will painfully accept the things that will break me even for eternity or even if it kills me...

Because that is how much I love you.

Byun Baekhyun is a friendly, polite, humble, respectful, and gentle young man. He lives a normal life with his family in Seoul, South Korea. Baekhyun and Hyangsoon are childhood best friends. But, ever since Baekhyun first saw Hyangsoon, he developed feelings for her and it became more and more deeper after each meeting but he only kept this to himself. He's afraid that he will lose Hyangsoon the moment she founds out that he has affections for her and will make her get away from him which will hurt him. So he decided to keep his feelings to himself only and stay as Hyangsoon's friend.

2 years passed and they were 9 years old. Hyangsoon have to go and study in Australia for her family's business. The day that Hyangsoon left Korea was the day she gave Baekhyun a white furred male puppy which the two of them named " Yoorin ". Before she left that morning, she escaped from their mansion and quickly went to Baekhyun's place not to directly say goodbye to him but to leave the puppy to Baekhyun's mother with a letter saying that she will come back sometime. Then her servants found her and she left Korea together with her parents and siblings.

Many years passed and they are now high-schoolers. Ever since the day that Hyangsoon left him the puppy with the letter, he cried and cried for such a long time and he took care of the puppy until now. He will always go to the park where they usually go and he will just sit on the bench thinking that Hyangsoon will be back sooner or later but, she didn't. And one time, when Baekhyun turned on the television to watch news, he saw Hyangsoon there.

"The multi-awarded actress, Choi Hyangsoon just arrived back from Australia this afternoon and she is now in front of us! Let us welcome, Ms. Choi Hyangsoon!" the host said. It wasn't a news... It was an interview. So Baekhyun got all excited and he smiled happily.

H (host): Welcome back, Ms. Hyangsoon! Looking good, huh? So.. How was Australia?

HS (Hyangsoon): Kamsahamnida! It was fun! I created different connections with the people there and they are really friendly.

H: Oh is that so? Wow.. That's really amazing. So, may I ask you, Ms. Hyangsoon.. Since you said that it was fun in Australia, may we know why you suddenly decided to come back here in Korea?

HS: Nothing really. I just missed the Korean atmosphere.

Then the two of them laughed gently and Baekhyun laughed as well. As soon as the interview ended, Baekhyun then turned off the television and he looked down. Since Hyangsoon's mansion was destroyed, Baekhyun lost contact of Hyangsoon's past servants and he really missed Hyangsoon so much that he even wanted to travel to Australia as well to be with her.

Baekhyun then looked for Yoorin and he patted Yoorin's head. Yoorin wiggled his tail and Baekhyun smiled at the white-furred male dog softly.

"I wonder if you still remember me, Hyangsoon.."
