Chapter 38-

*Mia's POV*
We all woke up on the corner sofa and the first thing that came to my thoughts was Ali... where did they hide the body? Is she really dead? All of these thoughts ran through my mind and I started to cry...
Harvey: 'Oh Mia! I know you miss Ali but we need to wait until the police investigation...'
He kissed me on the head and spoke softly to me until I stopped crying. Alyssa and Alex were still asleep but their pillows were wet so I could tell that they had been crying.. Max sat up on the sofa.
Max: 'Mia? Have you been crying? Ali?
I nodded my head after just recovering from crying and he scooted up closer to me.
Max: 'It'll be okay Mia, Me and Harvs will go make you breakfast, just stay there ♥️'
Mia: 'Okay Max, love you Harvs...'
Harvey: 'Love you too'
They jumped over the back of the sofa and walked into the kitchen. Harvey started making pancakes and waffles and Max got out the bacon bits from the fridge.'
Harvey: 'What's your favourite food Mia?'
Mia: 'Well normally, double deckers but for breakfast, either waffles or bacon.'
I smiled at them and they smirked at eachother. After what seemed forever, they came back in with 5 plates of food. For me, Alyssa, Alex and both of them.
Alyssa: 'What time is it?'
Mia: '11am Alyssa, the boys have made us breakfast.'
We tried to wake Alex up as she was still sleeping so we nudged her a bit and she finally woke up.
Alex: 'Morning Guys, do I smell pancakes?'
Mia: 'Yeah Alex, eat up.'
We all ate our breakfast and stayed on the sofa for a bit longer. I just stared into the blank abyss remembering all the good and bad times we had with Ali...
Max: 'Eat up girls, you need it after the ordeal that you went through yesterday.'
Harvey: 'Hopefully they will either find Ali or the body so we know she's at peace..'
*Ali's POV*
I heard police cars, they were coming back to the 'scene of the crime' I decided to scream so they might find me.'
Ali: 'HELP! IM IN HERE! PLEASE HELP..'
It seemed like they couldn't hear my screams.. I started to cry and then I heard a lock flip.
Police: 'Anyone in here?'
Ali: 'Oh my gosh! I'm here!'
I was weak and very thin when the policeman found me. I couldn't walk and they un handcuffed me and carried me back up and out of the basement.'
Police: 'How long have you been here for?'
Ali: 'in this room, 2 days, they gave me no food or water..'
He gave me a water bottle and an energy bar and I was wrapped in a blanket on the side of the street, eating and drinking as the police questioned me..
Police: 'We will need to alert people that you have been found.. who would you like us to call?'
Ali: 'Mia please...'
I gave the police her number and he dialed it.
*Mia's POV*
I heard the phone ringing and ran over to it quickly in case it was the police.
Mia: 'Hello? Who's there?'
Police: 'Hello, is this Mia? I am sergeant Lucifer.'
Harvey: 'Who is it Mia?!'
Max: 'Mia? Are you okay?'
My face went white and I ended the call.
Alyssa: 'Mia...'
Alex: 'Don't tell me she..-'
Mia: 'They found Ali... she is alive.'
