Chapter 48-

(Mia's POV)
I gasped and felt my waters breaking.. this couldn't happen! I still had 2 months left! The baby wasn't going to make it 😭...

Alyssa: 'Oh **** she's fricking gonna give birth.. Someone call an ambulance!!'
Alex: 'I WILL!'
Harvey: 'Mia.. this can't happen.. it can't be 2 months early!'
Mia: 'Just help me you idiot!!'

I was panicking and then I saw flashes of red, white and blue again as I quickly jumped into the ambulance followed by Harvey, Alyssa and Alex, leaving all the rest of the audience sat waiting, unsure what to do.

Mia: 'ITS TOO EARLY!'

I screamed as the paramedics were sat in the back checking me over.

Paramedic: 'How many weeks are you?'
Mia: '8!'
Paramedic: 'I don't want to alarm you but there's only a slight chance that they will live.'
Mia: 'How will that not alarm me!!'

I cried into Harvey's chest and they wheeled me into the hospital. I wouldn't let go of Harvey.

I got separated from Harvey and my friends and was getting wheeled to a private room when I saw Max.

Mia: 'MAX! Wait wait.. stop here now!'

The porter stopped the wheelchair and I sat in front of Max.

Mia: 'What happened!'
Max: 'I'm so so sorry...'

The porter started wheeling me away as I was screaming behind me with passion and sadness.

Mia: 'MAXXX! COME BACK 😭'
Max: 'I'm so so sorry Mia..'

He kept apologising but wouldn't tell me what happened and then I got put into a secure room with blacked out windows in order to give birth. Nurses surrounded me with Morphine and laughing gas as I started pushing and screaming.

Mia: 'Come on... live for me Lily and Jake! YOU CAN DO IT. Live for Mummy!'

I kept pushing and at this moment I saw the first one out and wrapped in a blanket.. it was tiny.. I didn't think it was going to live..

Nurse: 'So this is Jake? I'm so sorry.. it has no heartbeat.. do you want to hold it before saying goodbye?'

Crying harder this time I reached out to grasp my baby and It was ice cold and pale.

Mia: 'Hush... little baby.. you can live for me.. come on.. you can do it..'

I kissed Jake on the forehead and the nurse reached out to grab the baby back.

Nurse: 'Mia! It's already dead.. you can't do anything..'

I felt the next one leave as the nurse had a shocked expression.

Nurse: 'Wait.. I feel a heartbeat! DOCTOR COME QUICK! We might be able to save this little one!'

A huge smile plastered across my face but I was still concerned about Lily..

Nurse: 'The girl is providing a strong, stable heartbeat.. she's tough like her Mum.. she can get through anything.'

Mia: 'Can um.. max and Harvey come in so I can tell them the news..'
Nurse: 'Sure. I'll go get them.

I saw max and harvey walk in the room as I hugged them both tightly.

Mia: 'Max I'm so sorry.. I should've considered your feelings.. but.. meet your Nephew Jake and Niece Lily. They made it out alive...'
Harvey: 'Oh my gosh, thank God!

I had to take a minute to get my breath back as I stared at my 2 own babies lying in a machine, surrounded by wires.. but alive and now healthy..
