I am in room 204 right now, and all the boys are arguing on who gets to be my bodyguard.
I don't need a bodyguard, I can protect myself.
Really? Then what about the guy in your room that keeps showing up? Can you protect yourself from a random timed situation, where the guy sneaking in your room can get you and you be powerless?
No, I actually can't.
I just hope that I can stop him next time.
"Hey Hailey! Which one of us will be your bodyguard?" Simon asked and I chuckle, shaking my head.
"Hmm.....Let me think." I say and then look at all of them.
I can't believe they are fighting over you!
Get over it, you stupid brain!
You should pick Daniel! He is hot, smart, trustworthy, oh and did I forget to mention you like him a lot?
Ugh! Sometimes I wish I could kill you off.
You would be killing yourself off then sweetie! You should pick Daniel.
Shut up! I don't want to hear you again!
Daniel! Daniel! Daniel! Daniel! Dani-
My thoughts were cut off when Pharrel decided to speak to me.
"Hailey, you should pick me. I can keep you safer than any of these cowards can." He stated rather proudly, but that proudness shrunk to embarrassment once I got my words in.
"Look here Pharrel. The only coward is you here. You are too scared to even be around me because you know I can beat your ass and your scared of that happening to poor King Pharrel. Well newsflash bud, you don't always get what you want, when you want it, however you want it, got it? Also, if I could take you down in an instant when you decided to stupidly fight me, then you shouldn't be my bodyguard. That means I am stronger than you and a lot of people are stronger than me. That says something." I say confidently and watch him lower his gaze to the ground with an embarrassed expression.
"Oh-My-God!" They all say in unison, bursting out laughing.
I smirk at them and then guilt dawns on me.
I push the feeling away, because Pharrel deserves it.
He has put me through so much in the past months, during our relationship, and I am glad we ended it.
Especially when he decided to fight me, that definitely changed everything.
For one, you don't hit girls, two you don't touch me, and three if you do number one or two, your getting whipped.
My thoughts get stopped yet again when Connor starts whispering something to the guys.
"No whispering! Say what you said outloud." I say angrily and he looks at me in innocence.
"What do you mean?" He asks and then smirks.
"I mean if you don't tell me what you just said, I'll whip your ass myself, how's about that?" I say trying to hide my smile.
"Oh okay!" He says in fake-happiness.
"I was saying how Daniel needs to get that before we do." He says confidently and I blush.
Hard.
Ooh, girl. Your whole team like you, that's pretty awesome.
Shut up!
"Wh-what to do you mean?" I ask and they all turn their heads to me.
"We mean Daniel needs to get to you first before we do." Ramos says happily and I shake my head.
"I think I know who my bodyguard will be." I change the subject quickly.
"Who?" They all say excitedly.
".....Daniel." I say and they all look at Daniel with a death-glare.
"What? It is not my fault she picked me!" He says and then walks over to me with a glint of something unrecognizable in his eyes."Everyone back to work! The cars are being dropped off from the shop in ten minutes. We need to be downstairs in five." I say rushing because I seen the time on a clock on the wall.
"Hailey, can I please talk to you? Quickly." Daniel says and I hesitantly nod.
He intertwines our fingers together and he walks me out of the room.
"What do you need to talk to me ab-" My words got cut off when we stop in the hallway and Daniel kisses me.
It was like time stopped itself and I couldn't even remember my name.
The kiss is something out of this universe.
When we pull apart, he lifts my chin so I can look up in his dark eyes.
"Hailey, I kow a lot of things you don't know. That's why I was acting like a douche yesterday. I thought you knew, and didn't tell me but apparently not. I found out things from another person." He says quietly and I shake my head.
What things?
"What things?" I ask him and he shakes his head.
"I can't tell you." He says and I narrow my eyes.
Why can't he tell me something about me?
"Wait. Daniel does it have to do with the guy coming in my room? Can I tell you something?" I ask.
"No it doesn't have anything to do with the guy in your room. Also, sure. You can tell me anything." He says honestly and I nod.
"Um....The guy.....He said that I have three days until my family dies." I say and Daniel's eyes turn wide.
"What?" He says and I shrug.
"It happened last night. I don't understand though. I don't have a family." I say sadly and he hugs me.
"Hailey, you do have a family." He says and I shake my head.
"I don't have one, this gang is the only family I have." I say and Daniel kisses my forehead.
"It's okay, Hailey." He says and I nod.
I nodded, but secretly it's not okay.
I'm not okay.
I want to have a little sister or brother, and have a mom and dad to help me with life.
All I have is friends, and maybe a boyfriend. I also have a couple of elders but they don't understand.
Nobody does.Nobody ever will.
