Bilang merong sumabog at muntikan ng tamaan si Maki pero naka-ilag siya, at nakita niya na isang malaking hukay ang nasagitna ngayon at nadamay ang kanyang kalaban na katatalo niya lang.

Maki, are you okay?-Emi said tatkabo sana duon ang dalaga pero inawat siya ni Maki.

Stop there. don't come any closer.-Maki said and stadn in his ground and streach his hand, nakahanda na ang lahat ng kawal at nakatingin sila sa itaas at meron lumilipad na napakaramign demonyong anduon na handa ng umatake, kaya gwardyadong-gradyado ang prinsesa.

Ano ang maipaglilingkod ko? bakit naman kayo biglang umatake ng ganyan?-Maki said and look to the top, hindi makikitaan ng kahit kauntign takot si Maki.

Demon's are here to invade this city.-Demon said.

Oh, i se but can you do it after i get the reward?-Maki said, nagulat ang lahat ng sumagot siya sa kanyang mga kalaban.

You who are you? how do you know to speak in our language?-Demon ask, it's the leader of demons who attack this time.

Me? i am jsut a simple merchant, need some money? why? and also, i know this langunge than the other language in this world why do you ask? demon?-Maki said, walang gumagalaw dahil nakatutok sila sa dalawang nag-uusap.

You? who are you? how did you know this language?-Demon General ask and look at him,  the Demon is quite fasinated to the man talking too because even a single emotion don't have the boy talking.

I am Maki, i just said it merchant. that need money.-Maki said and the demon attack him but they jsut cross sword, at aatake na sana ang iba pang mge demons pero inawat sila ng kanilang pinuno.

Don't move, this man know something.-Demon said kaya anduon lang sila.

Oh, i see now, you are they're leader, you can order them, and i think your order is a law for them.-Maki said at bumaba sa lupa ang demonyo kasabay nito ang pagkawala ng kanyang mga pak-pak.

Yeah, i am they're leader, and i think your that princess personal knight.-Demon said.

Sad to say, but your wrong, i do not work to anyone, i work for myself.-Maki said and ready his weapon he know that the demon in front of him is not weak as the other enemy, the power and speed is not a joke.

Tell me something Merchant are you really a human?-Demon ask and look Maki to the eyes, and Maki smile.

Last time i check my mother is a human, my Father is a human, so basically i am a human, well i live in a human world also, so i am perfectly human.-Maki said and prepare his sword.

I want to convert you as a demon, right now i am thinking of getting you and turn you to a demon, what one my demon soldier. and make you my personal sparing mate, i think your not weak, you even have a phoenix to aid you.-Demon said and the demon's wing spread declaring that this is an official battle only for the both of them, and Maki smile.

I am gladly.... refuse.. i am not feeling it... after all i have a wish to fulfill so i cannot turn to demon.-Maki said and the demon attack him but he dodge it, Make almost got his head off using the claw of the demon general so he whisle.

"Whisle" you almost got my head. thanks to my familiar.-Maki said and smile at siya naman ang sumugod magmula sa likod ng kanyang kalaban, titira na sana siya pero muntik nanaman siyang mahagip ng mga kuko nita kaya tumalon siya pabalik.

Hindi ko alam kugn saan ka nagmula, pero isa lang ang alam ko isa kang malakas na nilalang para sa tao.-Demon said.

Thanks for the complement but, coming to a demon's lips i feel so honour at the same time happy.-Maki said and attack again this time he suddenly slide, lumusot siya sa ilalim ng hita ng demon at tumalon siya at winasiwas ang kanyang espada na muntik ng mahati ang ulo ng kanyang kalaban pero ginamit nita ang espada para sangahin ang atake.
