"i will not suck his face"
"i know you want to"

Two days later, it was Monday. The halls were filled with decorations: cob webs, skeletons, ghosts. Halloween had floated in and out of my mind. October passed by in a blur, and I still wasn't over what happened on Friday.

"April," a voice shouted through the halls. Flash was jogging down the hall to my locker where I leant waiting for Peter and Ned.

"Flash," I muttered, brushing my hair over my shoulders. "What can I do for you today?"

"More like what can I do for you?" he paused in front of me, brushing his hair up and off his forehead. "Listen I'm having a Halloween party tomorrow, since you know Halloween. I was hoping you could make an appearance." Flash stood in front of me smirking. "It's going to be awesome. My parents are ordering pizza, and there's gonna be a dj."

"I don't think so Flash, I won't know anyone that's going," I shrugged turning away from him and leaning against my locker to face the other way. He took a few steps and was in my line of vision once again.

"What if your friends Patrick and Neal can come? Then will you?" Once again Flash has gone an insulted my friends without even realizing it.

"Peter and Ned, actually," I said their names slowly. "And I'm still not sure. I would have to talk to them."

Flash nodded and smiled, pleased with himself. "Cool, I'll give you my address later. See you at the party." He walked away, waving a hand behind him.

I rolled my eyes at his idiocy and stayed against the locker until Peter and Ned walked up.

"Hey pals," I greeted them. "Flash invited us to his party tomorrow, if you guys want to go." I figured that I would mention the party to them on the off chance that they would actually want to go.

"Flash?" Ned asked. I nodded as we began to walk to lunch. "He invited us? All of us?"

I nodded again. "Yeah tomorrow at his house. He said there would be pizza and a dj. But if you guys don't want to go that's cool."

I looked towards Peter and bumped shoulders with him. I hadn't really talked to him since Saturday when we hugged in the kitchen. He was unusually quiet in class this morning, and he still looked out of it now. "What do you think?"

"I think we should go," he mumbled.

"You want to go?" Ned yelled straight into my ear. I rubbed my ear glaring at him. He backed away slowly.

"Maybe it's not such a bad idea. Maybe this will be fun."

"Well, I'm in, but only if you promise not to ditch us halfway through," I smiled at him. He nodded and then walked forward, picking up his pace. I stayed behind with Ned.
