I feel myself choking on my tears. This can not be happening. It actually is over for me. I don't know what to do. I love--- no. I will have to forget about him. I feel distraught, and tears drip down my face. "I don't want to go back." I say to Eric softly.
....He looks at me, while his hands cupping my chin. He pulls me into a kiss, a kiss that feels like a good bye.
"Please. Eric. Don't stay here anymore. I want you to come with me." I search his eyes for something ... anything.
"Please." He looks away. I now realize my begging is not being heard. Rather my begging is on deaf ears."You know I can not do that." His hands run through my hair. "I'm sorry." His voice cracks and his eyes water up.
