"Come on. Let's go." Eric says with no emotion in his voice.

"Go where?" I look up at him.

He pulls me up a bit rough.
While my legs are shaky he holds my now frail body steady.

"Eric I'm scared." I begin to cry as Eric wipes my tears.

"Come on. Let's get you home."
His strong body supporting me. I now feel safe again. At least for now.

I can barely keep up with him. My body now so thin, much thinner than what I was before I came here-- well before I was brought here against my will.

Eric creaks the door open and scans the hallway. Empty.

He turns to me to hands me his jacket. "Put this on, quickly." He whispers but his voice is still stern.

I do as I am told. I am silent and obedient to his commands. I button up the jacket. Looking down at my feet as I am being lead by Eric to another room.

I can smell his scent on his jacket. It smells so good. I shake my head. 'No no. I can't be in a daze. Our lives are in danger right now. Snap out of it.'

**Flash Back**

"Mom, I am so nervous about meeting him."

"Sweet heart, I'll be fine. You can do this."

"What if he doesn't like it?"

There is a long pause.

"I mean the gift, mom. Its our first year together. So I am a little nervous as he says he wants to talk to me about some thing."

"Oh, hopefully it will be good news. What's the worse that can happen?" My mom says playfully.

"Yeah. What can really happen." I say to myself.

"What? Did you say something?"

"N-no. I didn't mom. Love you."

I see him wave from the sleek black car. Wow, this feels like a funeral is going to happen. Like someone died.

"Hey, Daniel. How are you?"

His smile is weary and faint.
