Chapter 16

"Nature... Blade... I swear... I will murder you... in your sleep..." Cross grunted.
"NUUUU DEN WHO WOULD TORTURE CUCAS?!" Nature tipped her head on one side, still trying to force Lucas and Cross to get closer to each other.
"Exactly." Lucas didn't budge from Nature. "No one would."
"YOU ACT LIKE THATS A GOOD THING!"
"You act like it isnt." Cross looked at her lashing her tail, annoyed.
Nature did a derp face.
"Well if we were dead you two wouldn't be shipped at much." Blade pointed out doing a derp face.
Cross grunted. "I SWEAR TO GOD I-"
"GUYS!" Kim jumped in, her fur covered in leaves a twigs. She sat up panting and coughing.
Lucas dashed to help Kim up. "Kim?"
Kim stood up. "I'm fine..." she looked at them. "I need your help."
Nature did another derp face. "What for bruh?"
Cross looked at Kim waiting for her to answer.
Kim caught her breath. "I-i was talking to Blossom. She said she can't find Star anywhere!"
Nature pricked her ears. "ILL SAVE YOU BROTHER!" She crashed into a tree.
Lucas ignored her. "Take us to her, Kim."
Kim nodded. "Follow me." She spun around and ran into the trees. Nature pulled herself back up and ran after them.
Nature bumped into Lucas as he halted. "AYE DUCAS LOOK WHERE YOURE GOING!"
Lucas looked at Kim. "We're here?"
Kim nodded and flicked her tail to Blossom pacing back and forth.
Blossom looked up and let out a breath of relief. "Finally! You guys are here!"
"What happened?" Cross slithered out beside them.
"I... I don't know." Blossom looked to her side. "Star was right beside me and then it was just like... he disappeared into thin air..."
Nature looked around. "BROTHER! NO ONE PLAYS HIDE AND SEEK ANYMORE BRUH, THATS SO 5 YEARS AGO."
Blade put his hand over Nature's mouth. "Quiet, Green Girl! If Star isn't aware we're here... then that means... we get to have a sneak attack on him... and torture Slossom!"
"Are. You. Kidding me?!" Cross glared at Blade. "One of our friends have gone missing and you're talking about Slossom?!"
"Ah what am I kidding!?" Blade put his arms up. "All anyone cares about is action and drama!"
"ANYWAYS." Blossom stopped him. "I don't have any idea where to even start looking..." she twitched her tail worried.
"Well..." Cross flicked her tail. "There are six of us... so that means a greater chance of finding him if we split up..."
"Make that seven..." Lucas paused beside them, his eyes closed for a moment then opened them. "Someone's watching us."
"Hm?" Kim looked around. "I don't see anyone."
"AYE. WHOEVER YOU ARE, WE KNOW YOURE THERE. COME OUT WITH YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK!" Nature ordered doing finger guns. Kim frowned at Nature then looked back at their surroundings. "Where is their aura coming from Lucas?"
Lucas flicked one ear towards the trees. "Over ther-"
"YEET!" Nature ran at the tree and head butted it. Nature blinked, black surrounding the edges of her vision. "OOOOH.... I SEE RAINBOWS..." she fell over. "AND GLIIIIITTER!"
Cross looked at Nature then up at the trees. "Hm..."
Kim flicked her tail. "Please come out..."
"You can trust them." Cross added.
Them? Nature did a derp face. Does that mean whoever is in there can't trust you?
There was a long hesitation, then a red and black figure fell out of the trees, catching herself neatly on her paws.
Blossom looked at the Pokémon. "Haven't we seen her before?"
Nature did a derp face, looking at the Torracat. "ELLLOOOOO."
The Torracat looked at Nature with narrowed eyes, her fur bristling slightly as she looked at all of them.
Cross looked at her. "It's okay, Ember. They're my friends... if you trust me, you can trust them..."
Ember looked at her then at the others again. She let out a faint grunt and forced her fur down.
"Why were you stalking us?" Lucas looked at her.
"WAIT. SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHO THIS PERSON IS AND HOW CROSS IS BEING NICE TO HER??!!" Nature stopped them.
"Green Girl, it's a long story."
"Guys." Blossom looked at them hushing them then back at Ember.
Ember inhaled from the gazes on her. "Well..." she started slowly, suspicions-seeming. "I might have saw a Umbreon passing... or not passing, but being forced along-"
"STAR!" Blossom's eyes widened. "That must be Star!"
Cross hushed Blossom then looked at Ember. "Who was forcing him along?"
"Nothing visible..." Ember narrowed her eyes. "It seemed like an invisible force... like he was being dragged by thin air."
"Suspicious..." Lucas muttered.
Blossom looked at Ember. "Can you lead us to where you saw him? Please?"
Blossom's worried about Star... Nature smiled. Well I mean, we all are. But still.
Ember blinked, silent and her face showing no emotion.
Cross frowned at her. "Come on... you can trust them, if anything it should be them worrying about you..."
"Trust issues..." Blade did a derp face.
"Blade, just, stop. Just stop." Kim frowned.
Ember lashed her tail a bit. "Alright... follow me then..." she flicked her tail for them to follow her and padded into the woods. Nature followed her, ducking from the branches that hit her head. But some did anyways because she's clumsy like that. Nature did a derp face as she ran into another and got knocked off her paws. "GAH! STUPID BRANCH!" She sprang back up to her paws. "YO DUCAS. I REALLY THING YOU SHOULD CLEAR THE BRANCHES OR SOMETHI- Ducas?" She blinked as she saw none of her friends around her.
"Guuuuuyyyyysssssss?" Nature did a derp face and padded through the forest, going strait forward. "It's not nice to be joined brother in hide-and-seek and not telling me. You guys being plain rude today." Nature called out and ran farther into the woods, the grass grew longer, brushing against her pelt.
"NATURE!" The others called out from her side. Nature flicked her ear and jumped over to them. "YOU GUYS CANT WAIT FOR ME, BRUHS."
Blossom was about to reply but Cross did first.
"No time for arguing!" Cross grunted.
"Yeah!" Kim shifted herself nervously. "Now Ember is missing too!"
