Chapter 24

Jessica's POV

Today is September 7th 2017. It's Thursday which means I have my first ever interview today!!

Justin & I will be going on Ellen & performing! Well, I'll be performing, but Justin & I will be doing to the interview together!

Justin & I finish getting ready and head out the door.

We get into my car and head over to Warner Brothers Studios.

When we arrive, we check in at the gate and pull into the parking lot.

Security let's us inside & we meet up with one the producers who took us to our dressing room.

"So how many times have you been in this dressing room?" I ask Justin.

"A few, ahah."

"I always love your interviews with Ellen. She always brings out the best in you and always makes you smile."

"Yeah, she's a great gal. She's definitely my favorite to interview with."

"Knock knock!" we hear someone say on the other side of the door.

"Come in!!" I say.

"Hey guys!! What's up?" Ellen asks coming in.

"Hey Ellen! It's great to see you again! How are you?" Justin asks.

"I'm great! You must be Jessica?"

"Yes I am! It's so great to meet you!" I say to Ellen giving her a hug.

"Its great to meet you too! You are an amazing performer, really."

"Thank you!"

"So how's everything going with you Justin, after the accident?" she asks him.

"It's going good. Still recovering. There's some things I can't do yet, but I've been doing my exercises & taking my meds. Resting a ton."

"That's good to hear! I'm glad you're doing okay. We'll definitely talk more about it on the show. But I have to get to sound check, and you 2 will be called out to have yours in about 10 minutes. So I will see y'all out there!"

"Alright! See you out there!" I say to Ellen.

She leaves the room so it's just me & Justin.

"Are you nervous to speak about the accident?" I ask Justin.

"A little. This is the most serious thing I've ever had to talk about. But you know she'll probably ask you questions too about it."

"Yea I know and trust me I'm nervous as fuck."

"You'll do great babe, I know you will."

"Our next guests are 2 very talented perfomers who are now a couple. He is a Grammy winning artist and she just won her first VMA. Please welcome, Justin Bieber & Jessica Pelligrini!" Ellen says introducing us.

Justin & I walk out on set. We make our way over to our spots. We both hug Ellen before sitting down.

"So..we have a lot to talk about today." Ellen says.

"Yea we do!" I say.

"Should we talk about the good or the bad first?" she asks.

I look over at Justin to see if he has an answer.

"Um I guess we can get the bad out of the way." Justin says.

"Okay. So 2 weeks ago on Sunday, for those of you who don't know, the annual VMA's premiered on MTV. Some of you may know Jessica's story and some of you may not. Jessica, do you want to tell where this all began?"
