Chapter 19

Recap:

They just stared at me as I stared back, waiting for them to leave the room. "Um, are you guys going to leave anytime soon? I need to change." I said. Their eyes widened when they realized what they just did and quickly left the room after muttering "sorry".

I giggled softly at their actions.

On with Chapter 19:

(Y/N)'S POV

After changing to (your-attire), I exited my cabin and went to QUARTET NIGHT's bigger cabin to see Camus leaning on the railing, Ai-kun sitting on the railing, and Kuro-kun and Rei-kun sitting on the chairs provided.

"He went back to Aganapolis, huh? That's too bad." Rei-kun said. "I had a feeling something amazing was about to start." he added as he had his head supported by his two palms. "This is ridiculous. That's why I hate groups." Ran-kun said as his eyes were closed and his hands were behind his head. "Trusting them only leads to looking like a fool when you're betrayed."

"Eh?! Ran-kun, you're too cold!" I exclaimed before pulling out the chair to sit down. "The probability of Cecil returning is practically zero." Ai-kun said after being silent for awhile, most likely calculating.

I looked over to the one other person of our group, Camus. He was silent, and looked as if he was deep in thought. I stood up from my seat and walked towards him. "Camus?" I called out. He didn't answer. "Caaamuuus?" I dragged his name as I lightly tapped his face repeatedly. "Caaaaaaaamuuuuuuuuu- oh, good morning Camus."  I said as he finally snapped out of his trance.

"Hm? Wha- oh, it's just you, (Y/n)." he said as he looked down at me. We stared at each other, waiting for the other to say something. "Are you okay, Camus? You were spacing out just now." I asked. Camus' eyes softened as I said that. "Yes, I'm fine. Sorry for spacing out, I was just worried about something." he replied.

"Ah, I see. Well, if you're comfortable with it, you can always tell us, most likely me, about anything that's bothering you, alright?" I  informed him. He nodded before saying, "I will."

I smiled at his response before walking back to Rei-kun and Kuro-kun, joining in their conversation.

===TIME SKIP===

'Sigh, everyone is busy doing their own things, and then there's me.. with nothing to do. Well I do have to complete composing their new song, but we need to rest too you know. Thinking takes a lot of effort..' I thought to myself as I walked around the resort house.

I was playing with some animals that were not afraid of me, until I heard a song being played faintly. I stopped petting the animals and stood up slowly, trying not to scare the little creatures away.

Saying 'goodbye' to the creatures, although they would most likely not understand me, I walked towards the direction where I had heard the song.

After walking for awhile, I stopped in front of Nanami's cabin. 'Of course it would be her.' I thought before walking up to the door and knocking on in.

A few seconds later, the door opened. "Hey Nanami-chan~ , I heard you were playing a song. I also heard that you kept stopping at some parts. You need your senpai to help you?" I asked.

"Oh, (Y/n)-chan! Yes, please help me! I can't think on how to continue the song and it's stressing me out!" Nanami whined as she clung onto me and had anime tears running down her face.

"Hai (yes in japanese), hai. I will help you." I said as I patted her back, trying to comfort her.

==TIME SKIP==

We have written down the whole song and now Nanami was playing it, trying it out and to check if there any mistakes. I looked outside the window to see STARISH standing in front of the cabin. 'Looks like they heard the music too.' I thought.

"sigh..It's done." I heard Nanami sigh as she finished the song. "Hey, Nanami-chan. Let's hurry up and write down the score sheets for the others. I bet they can't wait to sing after hearing you play it." I said as I gathered half of the score sheets and proceeded to copy it down. 《lets just assume there's no photocopier in a resort house》

==TIME SKIP,, AGAIN==

I see Nanami giving out the score sheets to each of the present members of STARISH. I can sense the excitement from them, although I was looking from my place at the table beside them, eating breakfast 《i think??》

Rei-kun was looking at STARISH too, while being looked at by Camus, and Kuro-kun was not bothered by STARISH's excitement as he continued eating while reading a magazine, Ai-kun was silent as well.

"They're writing lyrics for a seven-part song, believing he'll return." Rei-kun pointed out. "Hmph. Fools. Considering the customs of royalty, there is no way he will return." Camus explained.

"How naive of them." Kuro-kun said as he closed the magazine. "They'll never last in this world if they keep pretending they're friends." Kuro-kun added as I looked at him, before looking back at STARISH. 'I hope their future will be alright, actually.' I thought before continuing to eat.
