Izumi-chan: I just realized Nanami is her last name and not her first name but she calls the reader by the first name?? oml i messed up since the time I used the names of the group in the word 'STARISH' to make it 'easier' but now it just became confusing but I'm too lazy to change it *cries*. I'm so sorry my reader!! T^T
By the way,, I think the story is ending soon. Probably left with about 5 more chapters?

Shining-san nodded again. "This world is not so easy that you can lose and expect to survive. Skill is everything. Do you not have faith in your juniors?" Shining-san asked and that made us reflect. Do I actually have faith?
On with Chapter 22:
(Y/N)'S POV
I was walking down the hallway of the second floor with QUARTET NIGHT towards the kitchen to get some food. We, well they actually, just finished practice for their new song. I just stood by the side and observed them while occasionally giving some comments.
We were walking, having small conversations until we heard the familiar voices of STARISH coming from the first floor. We stopped behind a pillar to avoid getting noticed by our juniors as we eavesdropped on their conversation.
"We should simply work to have our music heard by as many people as possible." Hijirikawa suggested. "And it's the debut of the new STARISH with Cecil." Shinomiya pointed. 'Ah, so they're basically talking about the UtaPri award..
"You guys really are amazing. You don't seem like a group that's at risk of being disbanded." Nanami's friend, Tomo as she would call her, said. "Of course we don't. We've got Nanami on our side." Syo said.
"That's right. Let's give it everything we have." Shinomiya suggested. I then noticed Nanami was silent and was staring into space. That was when the people around started to realize too and brought Nanami back to reality.
"We won't lose. Believe in us." I barely heard Ittoki say to Nanami. "They really are positive, aren't they?" Rei kun said softly as he stepped out from behind the pillar. "Do they really think they can beat their opponents so easily? At this rate, they'll be disbanded." Kuro-kun scoffed.
"What's this? Ran-Ran, could it be you're sad?" Rei-kun teased. "I'm not sad at all." Kuro-kun said. "You're not honest, are you?" "Shut up." Kuro-kun said as Rei-kun continued teasing him.
"Stop fighting you two. It's getting annoying." I said and surprisingly, it caused them to keep quiet. "But the probability of STARISH winning is 50%." Ai-kun said. "That's higher than I expected." Camus said and I nodded in agreement.
I thought HEAVENS would have a higher percentage of winning because they've been a group for a longer period and has more experience than STARISH, but I was wrong apparently. Thanks to Ai-kun, his calculations had shown that HEAVENS and STARISH are on the same level. Impressive.
Soon, we made our way to the kitchen to make some food, well mostly me. I decided to be a nice composer and friend to make them some food after their tiring day of practice.
Camus finished first as he had to go somewhere, and I finished next because I had to guide STARISH and Nanami through the XYZ TV building to a recording studio that they're not familiar with yet.
===TIME SKIP===
Once they were done singing, we exited the recording studio. I was sitting by the side when they were singing and I would describe their singing as heavenly. Their voices were in harmony, it was so smooth and I felt myself drift away from reality honestly.
"That was our first recording as seven, so I'm glade we had Nanami and (Y/n) listen." Syo said. "I'm glad I listened too, because your voices were so, so.. wah!" I tried to describe, but failed and ended up with a red face. "Let's go home and practice." Ittoki suggested.
"Haru-chan, (Y/n)-chan, I hope you'll watch our lesson too." Shinomiya said. "Sorry Shinomiya-kun,but I'm feeling tired and I wish to get back before my legs give up on me.." I apologized as I gave a small smile, and they nodded. "I'm sorry too, I.." Nanami couldn't finish her sentence as she didn't want to disappoint her friends.
"You must be busy with your new song." Hijirikawa stated and Nanami nodded. "Arranging it must be hard, but do your best." Syo encouraged Nanami. "I will. And if I face any difficulties, I can ask (Y/n)-chan for help." Nanami said as she looked as me.
From the corner of my eye, I see three figures walking in our direction. Meanwhile, someone gasped in realization of who they were.
"Well, well. You're all here. I've been wanting to meet you." Otori Eiichi said towards STARISH. "Wah! We're meeting STARISH in person. I'm so moved. Nice to meet you. I'm the universe's greatest idol, HEAVENS' Mikado Nagi, 13 years old. I look forward to working with you." Mikado said as he moved and acted cutely before moving in front of STARISH and put his hands out. 'Honestly he seems to cute to be true...' I thought.
As STARISH were about to find out Mikado's true personality, I noticed Kira staring at me. I looked towards him before smiling and nodding my head in acknowledgement. I've met him before, I was walking back to the recording studio from the toilet when I accidentally knock in him. And that's the start of our friendship.
"Oh, come one. Did you think I'd really shake your hand? You're far too inexperienced to be challenging us. Isn't that right, Kira?" Mikado said and Kira nodded. Mikado would have mocked STARISH even more if it wasn't for Otori stopping him.
Mikado then glanced in Nanami's and my direction, since we were standing beside each other, and had a curious look before walking towards us. "Hey, are you their managers?" he asked. "What? I.." Nanami tried to say. "Nope, we're composers. Nanami-chan is the composer of STARISH whilst I am a composer of another group. I'm just here to help out." I said with a slightly intimidating voice.
"Huh? STARISH's composer? And what about you?" Mikado asked me. "I'm QUARTET NIGHT's composer." 《what a reference to the title》
"I see..well, you're the one who wrote our new song?" he asked Nanami, who was probably too afraid to answer. At this time, my phone vibrated. I went to look at it and realized it was my alarm signalling me that I had to go back to make the boys dinner..yes I'm that kind. But we do take turns to make each other food.
"Ah, sorry guys but I need to go back first. See you guys there!" I said as I ran towards the exit.
