"Primrose! Wake up!" Effie screams.

"Ugh. Five more minutes." I moan.

"Do I need to come in there and dump ice water on you?" She says sternly.

I bolt out of bed. "Okay okay!"

"You have 15 minutes to get ready."

I hop into the shower and then get dressed in black leggings with a white lace tank top. I leave my hair down and then head down to the dining cart.

"You're late!" Effie screams.

I shrug as I take a seat next to Peeta. I glance at Effie and see her roll her eyes as I get my plate.

"I saw that." I say.

Effie just glares at me and I decide to ignore her.

"We're going to District 11 today." Peeta says quietly.

"I know." I reply as my eyes tear up.

"I'll do the talking if you want."

"Thank you. But I think I'll give a speech about Rue and Thresh."

"Okay. But if you change your mind, tell me."

I smile at him.

"You two should go change." Haymitch says when he walks in.

"But Cinna isn't here." I protest.

"He left your clothes in the closet." Haymitch replies.

"Fine." I grumble as I get up from my chair.

"You'd better change that attitude, missy." Effie snaps.

"I don't care Effie! Don't you see that I'm under enough stress already!" I scream at her and run to my room.

"Prim! Come back here!" She yells.

"Leave me alone!" I scream and slam the door.

I lean against the door and fall to my knees as I sob. I sob because of all of the stress I'm under, because of President Snow and how he threatened me, because of how my life and my family's life is in danger, but most of all, I cry about the cruel world we live in.

I get so mad that I basically trash my room. When I'm done, my bed is unmade, glass is all over the floor, the clothes are scattered all over the floor, and my hands are bloody from the glass.

About an hour later, I hear a soft knock on the door.

"Prim?" It's Peeta.

"Come in." I whisper.

He opens the door and his eyes widen at the mess that I've created.

"Prim, are you okay?" He sits down on the floor next to me.

"No." Then I start to cry again.

"Shhh. Shh. It's okay." He pulls me into his arms for a hug as I wet his shirt with my tears.

"N-no it's not. You don't know what I'm talking about."

"Would you like to tell me?"

"Okay." And then I explain my conversation with Snow and his threat.

"Wow. That's a lot to handle." He says.

"I know. And there's Effie, telling me that I need to change my attitude. She doesn't understand!" I exclaim.

"Just tell Effie that you're sorry and that you're under a lot of pressure. I'm sure she'll understand." He says gently.

"No she won't. She's Effie. She doesn't understand anything!" I yell and start to cry again.
