Broken but mended (a Leico fan fiction)

Friends?

Nico's POV

I was still smiling about what Leo had said last night, even though it was something so simple it made my heart melt every time I thought of what he said. I guess I was smiling a bit too much because Hazel thought I was on drugs or something.

"Why do you keep smiling Nico? I mean I'm glad you're smiling, but it's so weird." Hazel asked as we walked to breakfast. I shrugged.

"Because I'm happy I guess." I said. She smiled, I guess she's happy that I am happy for once. I sat down at my usual seat and Hazel sat by Frank like usual. I wish I could sit next to someone "special", but the person who's special to me doesn't think I'm special. I looked at him and saw him laughing at something funny, gods I can hear his laugh all the way over at the Hades table, not that I mind his laugh is really adorable.

After I finished eating my breakfast I went down to the beach area and sat down. I started thinking about Leo. I needed to talk to somebody about this. I couldn't talk to Hazel, I don't think she'd be happy, Jason was busy hanging around with Piper, I don't know what Annabeth would do, Frank probably wouldn't take me seriously, and Percy I guess I could talk to Percy, I don't want to but at the moment I don't have any other options. I went to the Poseidon cabin and knocked on the door. Percy opened it and let me in.

"Hey Nico whats up?" He asked sitting down on his bed.

"Um hi, um Percy can I talk to you about something?" I asked, he nodded. "Okay, please don't hate me or tell anybody or anything but um, I sort of have this crush on um on Leo and I, I know I'm absolutely stupid but I just i don't know what to do I mean there's nothing I can do its not like he's into me or anything. I really just had to tell someone I think." I said. He looked shocked for a second but then he smiled.

"Nico has a crush awwww!" He yelled in delight. "Nico I think that for now what you need to do is talk to him, not about this but talk to him just have a conversation then go from there." Percy said, a huge smile on his face. I smiled and said thanks and left to find Leo.

He was walking around doing nothing so I walked next to him.

"Hi Leo." I mumbled.

"Hey Nico!" Leo said, "Whats up?"

"Um nothing much, just looking for something to do. How bout you?" I asked. He smiled.

"Oh nothing just talking to my new friend." He said. I smiled and blushed, he considered me a friend. "Do you know of any good music?" Leo asked.

"Well I do know some Frozen songs pretty well." I said, smiling a bit. Leo laughed, gods his laugh is so much better when you can hear it perfectly clear.

"You, Hazel, Percy, Annabeth, Frank, Piper, Jason, and I are having a Frozen sing off tonight!" Leo said, the scary thing is that he is actually serious. I giggled slightly, yes I sort of giggled.

"Your serious?" I asked. He nodded enthusiastically.

"It will be so much fun! You better show up, it will be in your cabin so I mean you have no way of getting out of it." Leo said smiling. I nodded. This is going to be one crazy night.
