The car had stopped and as I looked out the window, I was amazed at what I had seen. ...The house was medium sized, not huge, not a mansion, a just right home. I appreciated that.
It looked homey unlike other mansions and big houses that I saw. I never understood why people needed big homes to feel content, I mean, it's not about the stuff, right? It's about the memories you make.
I got out of the car and with the satchel still on my shoulder, I walked to the front door. I was starstruck... I couldn't fathom over anything that was happening.
"Do you like it?" Mat asked, which made me jump from being startled. (I do that a lot...)
"Ah- Oh, yes, indeed. Heh." I stuttering a bit, as I recovered from the scare.
"Good!" Nate happily jumped into the conversation. Nate unlocked the door, and all at once, we had all entered.
"I have a question," I had been wondering ever since I had discovered NatePat was actually a thing... "If you two are together, what about Morgan and Steph?" This is gonna be interesting.
They both looked at each other and chuckled, "Magic?" They both wavered their arms in the air as if I was going to believe them. I was smarter than that - heck, I was a teenager. You use that kind of stuff on little kids, not me.
Though, I did believe in magic.
Just...
Not that phrase that they just used.
(It's kinda really complicated.)"Yeah... You're too smart for us. Mat can explain it.... I have... Um... Erm... Things to do!" Nate patted Mat on the shoulder and ran off to do whatever excuse he had to do to actually get out of the conversation.
Mat groaned as he gave Nate a cold stare. He looked at me and began to explain just like he did in all of his Game Theory videos.
"You see, the whole Steph and me, Morgan and Nate thing- It's staged. I mean, really, you can do anything on the Internet..." Mat exclaimed. He was correct, though I was a little disappointed that StephPat and Mate weren't a thing. They were all really cute together...
"There is a happy ending to this, though. We're all still really close friends! Actually, Morgan and Steph are dating." I gasped and squeaked with excitement for both Steph and Morgan...
This meant...
STORGAN WAS A THING -
Yes.
I love it."Oh my stars! That's so great, I'm so happy for them!" I could just imagine them... If only people new - I bet everyone would be happy and satisfied (I mentally laughed at the musical pun I had just made.) with the ships! I mean, everyone got what they wanted....
Partly."Happy for who-?" Nate was back and was very confused as he caught the end of Mat and I's conversation.
"Oh nothing..." I laughed.
"And where were you?" Mat asked, playfully annoyed. Nate held his hands as if to surrender.
"Hey, hey, it's fine... I was... Um-"
"That's what I thought." Mat crossed his arms, but then couldn't stay mad at Nate so he just kissed Nate and pretended like the small, playful argument never happened.
"Anyhow, let's show you to your room?" A blushed and confused Nate lead the way.
...
As the door creaked open, I was mystified with the mysterious vibe I was getting from my room. I had noticed that my room was exactly my aesthetic, almost as if they had done research on me before they came to the orphanage. The mixed colors of the blue, purple and white walls of my room looked like a stream of water in spring... The darkness of my bed and blankets set the mood for a cold, gentle, but white winter... The little Lunar Flowers that were placed perfectly upon a desk reminded me of the night sky...
It was a very organized and tidy room.
Not too much, not too little. I didn't expect anything less - and honestly, I loved the room. I loved how I had the ability to customize it, but if I didn't, it was still look beautiful....The thing that I loved most about my room was the breath taking window right above my desk. I imagined sitting there, staring at the moon on endless nights.
Oh how this would be an amazing journey. I liked this change - oh, did I like this change.
