Chapter 16- Emotions

***Cameron’s POV.***

Ok so I have been planning the perfect way to tell Jasmine how I feel about her. Only Nash knows because I know if I will tell Matt he would blow it. 

Ok well, Jasmine’s absolutely loves the band 5 seconds of summer, so I managed to score 2 tickets to their concert here in L.A tomorrow. That’s why when Jaz came to our room, I needed to quickly hurry because I got a text from Bart saying that he received the tickets downstairs. As soon as I got the text I immediately had to go get them I didn’t want anyone finding out. 

My plan is to give her the tickets, and she hopefully says yes to go, and then we take a walk along the beach (sounds corny, but I’m serious) and tell her as we are walking. I hope, just hope that she feels the same way. 

I run back to my room once I got the tickets and thank god Jasmine is gone. Ok they are words I hope to never have to say again. 

“Hey Bro, did you get them?” Nash said popping his head up from his laptop. 

“Yeah I got them right here” I hold up the 2 tickets. 

“Man she is gonna be stoked” He said smiling. 

“I know, I’m so excited, and definitely nervous too.” I explain. 

I start to actually freak out. “Man what if she doesn’t like me back and this all blows up in my face, and then it ruins our friendship” I say really worried. 

Nash could tell I was starting to freak out so he quickly got up and sat me down on the lounge. 

“Look dude, she will like you back, she has too. If she doesn’t then I know Jasmine won’t make a big deal out of it she will still wanna be best friends” He said trying to cheer me up. 

“But what if I can’t deal with being just friends, I don’t know if I would be able to cope with her being with someone else” I said. 

“Well then dude, your taking a leap of faith here, you just got hope she likes you back and if not, you gotta let her go” he said truthfully. 

I was getting so nervous now. Fuck I hope she really does like me back. 

“Ok thanks man” I say patting his back and heading to the bathroom for a shower. 

I hop in the shower and think about all the possibilities of tomorrow night, the good and also the bad. 

I hope out and chuck on my boxers. I hop out of the bathroom and see that Nash is already passed out in his bed. I turn the lights off and hop into bed myself. 

I close my eyes and slowly drift to sleep.

Jasmine’s POV. 

I slowly wake up to the annoying sound of my phone going off indicating that someone was calling me. I slowly pick it up and see that it’s mum.

“Hey mum, is everything ok?” I asked.

“I have been trying to get in contact with you and your brother for over the past hour it’s half past 11 now, shouldn’t you guys be up?” She said sounding a bit annoyed. 

“No, I’m sorry mum we don’t have Magcon until 1:30pm so yeah, anyways what’s the matter?” I asked.

“Oh well honey, I’ve got some bad news” She said sniffling as if she had been crying. 

Shit. Did something happen? Is my mum ok? My gut just turned upside down, just like when I was told my dad was in an accident. 

“M-mum w-what’s g-going on?” I stuttered, afraid of her response. 

“Ok Jasmine don’t freak out. Emma is in hospital” I felt my eyes well up with tears and all of a sudden I broke down. 

Emma, Is Matt’s and I’s little sister she’s our little princess. Emma is only 4, and means the world to me. (Matthew doesn’t have a younger sister named emma, just making it up in the book) When dad died last year she didn’t really notice he was gone until just recently. She thinks dad’s just on a very long holiday we keep trying to explain to her that daddy isn’t coming back but she refuses to believe so. Matt is so protective of her and loves her to pieces just as much as I do. I can’t believe this is happening. 

“WHAT MUM, IS SHE OK? WHAT HAPPENED? DOES MATT KNOW?” I was yelling and pacing up and down my hotel room, anxiously waiting for a response.
