Chapter 39- Gone.

Jasmine’s POV. 

It’s been about two days since Cameron’s surgery and he is doing well. Like surprisingly well, I’ve been spending a lot of time with him lately and I can’t help but feel as if those feelings I had towards Cameron have come back. 

He is just the sweetest and has always treated me right and protected me, let’s not forget the fact that he actually got into hospital for fighting for me. I know he is probably over me by now and doesn’t think of me any more then a friend but I still hope. 

I was currently in the hospital’s cafeteria getting some food for Cameron, Nash, Taylah, Niki, Matt, Maybe Cam’s family and I. Nash flew up as soon as he heard Cam was in hospital as well as Cameron’s parents and they haven’t left his side since. I think Cameron’s parents, went back to our house. Mum invited them to stay with us during this occurrence, so they were probably catching up on sleep. 

Once I got all the food, I headed back up to Cam’s room to chill and eat with everyone. Once I got there no one was in the room besides Cam, he laid there pale because obviously he is still recovering from major surgery but he looked some what happy. 

I walked in the room, “Hey, where’s everyone gone?” I asked smiling and taking a seat next to him after putting the food down. “Oh, they went to Chipotle” he said “Oh, whoops I got too much food then” I said looking at the trays of food I bring up. He just nodded in agreement and laughed. 

I turned to face him and he smiled warmly at me, I blushed a little and tucked some hair behind my ear. “Jaz, I need to talk to you” He said siting up to grab my hands, he led me over to his bed and I sat down beside him. “Is everything ok?” I asked a bit worried, he just chuckled and shock his head yes, “Everything is perfect”  he said smiling at me and grabbing my cheek, I just stared into those big brown eyes of his and got lost absolutely lost. He was just perfect when you look at him every little thing about him is perfect, his teeth, his smile, his eyelashes are even perfect. Jasmine, stop this is  Cam your thinking about, your best friend. Maybe more? Jasmine stop. 

Cameron’s POV. 

I saw Jasmine as she walked down the hall struggling with all the food she got for all of us. I laughed at myself, she is just flawless without even having to try. Her hair was all wavy and all over the place but somehow she still managed to look stunning. 

It’s a shame all the food will go to waste seen as though I told everyone to go to Chipotle because I had planned to tell Jasmine how I felt, I had to. Being so close to death, I can not die and not tell Jasmine that I love her, I could’ve died in that OR but I didn’t and I am the most thankful anyone could ever be. It gives me a second chance to get the girl of my dreams. 

She walked in and I knew that it was exactly the time to tell her I could feel it in my gut. We made small talk for a bit but then I finally got the nerve to say that I had to tell her something. This was it, it’s now or never, I grabbed her hands and pulled her to my side. 

I looked straight into her big blue green eyes, they were so beautiful, I think I got lost in them for a little bit and forgot about how I said I needed to talk. Jasmine and I both sorta snapped out of our daze.
