"Time to eat"

I looked into Carl's bright blue eyes that were shining in the sunlight. It was very bright thing sunday morning and I was thinking about taking Carl on a walk alone today. Then, going to the hospital to see my aunt. I tried not to think about her but it couldnt get out of my head. I looked up at Carl then to my bare feet again.

"C'mon." He pulls me to the dining room.

I see Rick and Lori laughing hard. Shane is puts juice in his cup. They all look over at us. Two empty seats are seen by Shane. I sat in the middle with Shane on my right and Carl on my left. Rick is infront of me and Lori is across from Shane, leaving a empty seat infront of Carl. I get up and place two pancakes on everyone's plate. I recieve a thank you from everyone. I smile and put the warm syrup in the middle. I grab Carl's glass.

"What do you want? Milk or OJ?"

"OJ please." He smiles while I dump the OJ into the cup.

I set it down and he thanks me. I do the same with everyone else. I finally get to sit down myself and I grab maple syrup and dumb it all over the plate. I set it back down and dumb some milk into my glass. We eat and laugh alot. It was the best sunday breakfast ever.

After breakfast, I clean the table off. Lori walks over to me.

"Rick told me. Do you want to go see your aunt today?"

"I have no choice. Carl and I are going to take a walk. Then we can."

"Alright sweetie. Whenever you want."

I walk off to Carl, he was up in his room. I knock on his doorframe. He looks up from his comic and smiles at me.

"Whats on your mind?" I smile.

"My comic wanting to be finished."

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a walk."

"Sure." He puts his hand on my waist and kisses me.

I feel his lips connect with mine, it tastes of sweet sugar. I pull out and intwine my fingers in his. We walk out the door. I stroll down the sidewalk, feeling the warm concrete on my barefeet. I didn't care of what people thought of me. I stared up at the sun and looked over at Carl.

"You feeling alright?" He glances at me.

"Of course. Im always okay." I smile at his answer.

He starts to skip infront of me, making me laugh.

"Carl! Wait up!" I laugh even more.

I catch up to him and see the corner of the hospital. Out of the corner of my eye I see him, Arthur.
