PART II
(third person pov)

" Cold... its so cold..." she mumbled, through her pale blue lips. Hearing faint sounds of a car pulling away. As she laid on the cold concrete, feeling a wet substance slowly surround her, trickling off her milky white skin. She felt weak, her stomach burned, with a throbbing pain encasing her, rendering her of her movement. Soon she felt the rain meet her frail body, every breath was a drag.

" (Y/N)!"

She swiveled her head to the side, gently smiling as she noticed the familiar silhouette, as his black hair got in view, her mind sluggishly making a connection.

" Ka-kageyama..." she muttered out, barely any life left in her words.
" What happened?!" His voice filled with desperation, looking at the petite girl laying helplessly, examining her wounds, eyebrows stitched in concentration. A murky red substance pooling around her. What had happened to the eyes that was once glimmering with hope, and the voice that could always turn his frown upside down?
The once gentle smile now turned to a frown as she noticed the despair written on his face. As she mustered all her energy, placing her blood-soaked hands on his.
" I'll be fin-" she heaved out, coughing up blood, every word taking all she had.
His head clouded with panic, feeling the helplessness spread through his body. Gazing at the pale hand placed atop of his own, feeling the rain beat down on his head, hearing the thunder crackling behind him. His heart aching seeing the condition the girl was in. Snapping out of his trance, he picked up the girl, treating her like a porcelain doll, as he ran, focusing his eyes on the road that led ahead.

" Ah Kageyama-kun!" The small girl yelled out, capturing the taller boy's attention.
" Happy birthday!" She yelled, an obvious red forming on her bubbly cheeks.
" Anooo... this is for you!" She pushed a box against his chest, smiling from ear to ear.
"Oh... you didn't have to.." the shy boy commented, pulling the ribbon off to expose a beautiful sliver promise ring.
" I have one too! See!" She giggled, putting her hand next to his.
As he looked at the beautiful, pristine ring, he couldn't contain the smile that was forming.
" Thank you... i love it." He said before looking away to cover his pink tainted cheeks.

The bitter feeling enveloped his mind as he felt the nostalgia of what once was. His grip tightening around the petite girl, eyes focused on the road ahead.

Looking onwards towards the hospital, he realised that it was too far, he would not be able to make it. He stopped running, cold, dreadful thoughts filled his mind.

" Stop c-cry-ying k-kage-ya-ama..." she spoke out weakly. Feeling the wet pearls that soaked his cheeks. Smiling weakly towards the boy, she reached out to wipe the tears, only leaving red streaks on his face.

" How can I not cry!?" He boomed, gripping her fragile body closer to him as he fell on his knees. His heart was breaking, as his chest tightened. He didn't want her to go, not today, not ever. He couldn't lose the person that he loved, why did this have to happen to such an angel?

She felt her eyes fluttering shut, as every breath became tighter and heavier. As she felt a cold breeze, embracing the two. She didn't want to leave the poor boy crying, but what choice did she have?

Separating her dry, chapped lips, barely audible, "I-i love y-you k-kageyama tob-bio, g-good b-bye..."
