sick | daichi sawamura

The rain thundered ahead, as you tightened your grip around your boyfriend's hand.
"What are we going to do?" You questioned, realising that it was late and the weather was working against you.
"I think we have to run!" He yelled, pulling you to run. You couldn't help but laugh as you ran in the rain with the raven haired male.
"Are we in a movie?" You gleefully shouted, as you danced in the rain with him.
"As long as you're still mine." He answered, before pulling you into his arms as he carried you running.
"Hey!!" You shouted, trying to escape from his grasp.

"38.2 degrees..." You sighed, tucking yourself into your bed. "I should tell Daichi right? Ah but he will only be worried! Aish I'm just going to sleep!" You mumbled, turning to your side.

Awaking to the sound of your door opening, you see the familiar figure of your mother, holding a bowl of sorts. "Here, drink this." She spoke out, placing the porcelain bowl on your bedside table.
Before taking her leave, she spoke out yet again, "Daichi called by the way, a few times...but you were asleep."

"Huh?!" You shrieked, truly waking up from your daze. You heard your mother snort a chuckle as the wooden door closed. You placed both hands on your head, as you heaved a frustrated sigh. Taking your phone to call the male, it vibrated in your palms. "Speak of the devil."

"Hey you picked up! Ah (y/n) are you alright? What happened?" His panicked voice spread to your ears.
"I'm alright, just a little sick..." You muttered, not wanting to worry him.
"Ah? Oh no...hm okay then." He sounded awfully calm, which honestly surprised you. But you were glad that he wasn't worried. The call ended with a short conversation, throwing 'see you tomorrows' at each other.

Feeling the migraine crawl back, you reckoned that you should just sleep. Drifting off into dreamland as you placed your head on your soft pillow.

A pair of warm hands snaked around your waist, waking you up. Unaware of what was happening, you jolted up, to see your beloved boyfriend in bed with you.
"Daichi! What are you doing here!" You yapped, pushing him away, not wanting him to receive your disgusting germs.
"How can I not come to check up on my princess? Especially since you got sick from yesterday!" He cooed, inching closer to you.
"Ah! You will get sick too, go away!" You put your hands up in defence mode as you tried to back away, but only feeling the cold wall behind you.
"It's okay, I just miss you." He whispered, placing you in his warm embrace.
Surrendering to his pleas, you placed your frail hands weakly around his waist.
"I got you medicine, eat it then rest okay?" He mumbled into your ears, proceeding to separate himself from you.
Hearing the medicine clink in its bottle, you gave him a gentle smile.
"How are you not sick? You ran in the rain too.." You logically questioned.
"Because your love heals me!"
"You're so corny!" You smacked his back.
"Only for you." He winked as you cringed.
