"Ugh, my head." I groaned as I lifted my head up from the pillow. I carefully rubbed the sore area as I took in my surroundings. What the— I'm home? I thought I was at school. I pulled the sheets away from me and got up and trudged downstairs.

"Hey, Mum" I called still holding my head. Mum turned round and her eyes widened and she hurried over.

"Oh hunny, how's your head?" She asked bringing her hand up over mine.

"I-it's fine, did something happen?" I asked feeling confused as to why I couldn't remember anything.

"Yes, you hit your head so hard you were completely knocked out." She replied making my eyes widened.

"Then how did I get here?" I questioned, with my eyes looking around the room.

Mum sighed through her nose and moved away to lay the table for breakfast. I shuffled over to the table and sat down. As she placed my plate of food down she answered,

"A boy brought you home, he looked about your age." She began to explain making my brow raise, "I asked his name but he wouldn't tell. All he said was 'I'm an angel.'" She chuckled to herself as she remembered his stranger words.

"I thanked him, but I don't trust him." She added giving me a look. I looked down at my food and frowned. A guy. Carried me here?... but who? I tucked into my big breakfast, thankful I didn't have to go another day with just a breakfast bar. Once I was finished I got dressed and left for school.

Here I was, walking through the infamous forest once again. Clueless as to what punishment I was going to face this time. It felt weird, almost empty. I didn't feel anyone watching or following me. It was silent. So I just went on walking.

I reached the other side without a single scratch or encounter. My lips curled and I found myself letting out a sigh of relief.

"She smiles?" A voice called from my side. My smile quickly falling as I looked across at the guy beside me.

"W-who are you?" I asked with my hands moving up to grasp the straps of my bag.

"Ah, that doesn't matter," He replied pausing to turn to me with a knowing smile, "although, you have seen me before." My brows knit together as I try to remember him.

*flashback*

He whistled and his friends appeared with no hesitation of sparing me. Within seconds they were kicking me from all angles. I wrapped myself up into a ball in defence.

When they're finished the men lift me up onto my feet by grabbing the back of my shirt. Two of them grabbing my arms so I couldn't move. The guy on my right had his hand stroking mine. My body shivered and I gave him a disgusted look. Hoseok walked over until he was one step away from me.

"I hope you know now, that I'm in charge here!" He snarled with his fist moving quickly into my stomach knocking me back onto the floor again. I couldn't even hold back the tears anymore. They fell like raindrops in a storm. The gang returning to kicking me.

*end flashback*

My eyes widened when I realised he was one of them. I took a step back as I stared at him, with panic flooding my veins.

"Please don't hurt me!" I begged with my body shivering in both fear and anticipation. The man laughed and shook his head.

"No, I won't. Hoseok isn't here so you're lucky" He reassured me his lips curling into a warm, friendly smile. I cocked my head and felt unsure of what to say. Was he trying to be friendly?
