//Y/N POV//

Did he really just leave me here and run home? What even happened? My head ached and I was still dazed from what'd happened. Slowly, I sat up and rose to my feet. After brushing down my skirt I find my hand carefully cupping the cheek where he'd slapped me. The stinging pain was like thousands of needles piercing my skin at once.

"It's so sore..." I mumbled to myself as I shuffled forward. I wanted to go home, and that was where I was headed.

I trudged along the same dirt path, through the valley of trees. Whenever I heard footsteps my muscles tensed and I always visualised Hoseok.

"Hoseok, please—" I looks back to see three girls, not Hoseok. Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo.

"What's wrong with you?" Jisoo yelled crossing her arms.

"How could you humiliate him like that? And make him cry!?" Jennie quickly snapped making me more and more confused.

"I-I didn't... Wait, he cried?" I replied raising a brow as my head fell to one side.

"Duh! Yes, how dumb do you think we are? All you want to do is bring him down!" Lisa hissed tolling her eyes.

"I see why he picks on you so much... You treat him like he's nothing!" Jisoo growled narrowing her eyes.

"But I d-didn't—"

"Shut up! We aren't finished!" Lisa again raised her voice, "We want to help our Hoseok. So we are going to do what's best for him."

"What do you think about a haircut?" Jennie asked as she revealed from her pocket a pair of scissors

"What do you think about a haircut?" Jennie asked as she revealed from her pocket a pair of scissors. They started walking closer so I ran, and they followed.

"YAH!" They called. I didn't looked back once I just kept running like my life depended on it. One of them caught my backpack, but I slipped my arms out and ran off without it.

"If you tell anyone, you're finished!!!" They shouted as I reached my house. I jumped inside and locked the door behind me. It was silent again. Just the sound of my heavy pants came from my mouth.

I was frustrated with it all. They were so annoying, and they took my backpack! I'd have to get that back tomorrow...

I ran upstairs and checked on my mum, who was still in bed. I went over and tucked her in. I smiled to myself as I watched her peacefully at rest. She'd been really sleepy lately.

I went back into my room and changed into my nightwear, before slipping into bed. I grabbed my phone and checked it as I laid flat in my bed. Then I noticed I had a voicemail from my mum, from two days ago. I pressed it and held the phone to my ear. I was immediately concerned by the heavy breathing that echoed through receiver.

"Hello? It's me... I just want to say, I love you. I really do. Things are a little strange lately but just promise me something... Promise me to be safe! Please! Take care of yourself, run away!" Her cracked voice quickly turned into desperate commands. Then she drops the phone and starts screaming. The call ended.
