Nora was mad. It wasn't good.

Peter had tried calling her, but she hadn't answered for the last 7 calls. He had given up.

No one in the tower was faring much better with her attitude. She had refused to talk to anyone, including JARVIS, and she stopped eating with them. She couldn't face them, not after what Loki had done. They deserved to know that he was back, but it was too late to tell them without them asking why she kept it hidden for so long.

But wouldn't they still want to know? That little voice nagged her. She chose to ignore it.

Slipping out of the tower, she shoved her hands in her coat pocket. It was a particularly chilly night, so she wouldn't have to worry about many people being out. She wouldn't have to worry about people breathing down her neck, asking her if she was okay, was anything wrong?

She was all by herself. Well, as much as she could be.

"I'm here." She spoke through the cold air. Her breath came out in puffs, illuminated by the single streetlight in the park she had stopped in. No one answered. Nora moved to the nearest park bench, sitting down.

"You actually showed up? How kind of you." A sharp voice cut through the cold air. "I didn't think you would follow through after what I said."

"It's not like I had a choice," Nora huffed. "I can't let you hurt anyone else." Loki bit back a laugh.

"Hurt anyone? What's the fun in that? I like to torture people, mentally, until they end up hurting themselves. It's more fun that way."

"Cut to the chase, Loki. Who did you bring?" Nora tried to see behind him, but all she saw was darkness. "It had better not be someone too evil." A chuckle came from behind Loki, and a figure stepped out. He wore a orange-yellow robe that reached his knees, and had a strange looking ring on his finger.

"He is not evil in the sense you know, mortal. He is so much more."

"You may call me Kaecilius, or master, if you prefer." He purred. "Someone I know is trying to help you puny peasants, and I need to stop them from doing so."

"And I would help you because...?" Loki stepped closer to her, and Kaecilius followed.

"Because you owe me a favour, do you not?" He sneered. "And you want to get to the bottom of your problem, do you not?" Nora stood up, her head barely reaching Loki's shoulder, but she still stood confidently. She stared into his dark, cold eyes.

"Just because I owe you a favour, doesn't mean that I am willing to do anything for you. I still have standards, and what you're asking falls so low underneath them." Kaecilius raised his hand to Nora's cheek ,and it took all of her willpower not to slap it away.

"Such a pretty mortal...Do you know what people like me can do to you? So many things." He slapped her cheek, causing her head to spin. She clutched her cheek, anger burning in her eyes. "There's more where that came from." He started circling her, like a vulture. "I've been through so many timelines, seen so many people. Don't think that I don't know what you're going through...You and your little voices."

"How did you even know about-"

"Shush now, Nora. More important things need to be discussed. So, are you willing to cooperate, or do I need to use different measures?"

"I'm going to listen. Now, what do you need?" She growled. Kaecilius grinned.

"I need you talk to a man called Doctor Strange."
