Chapter 5.

3 years later 

Jeff's 14 birthday 

I'm 13 

I sneak out to Jeff's house. I glance at the clock as I go 3:38 am. I slide out the window and run down the street. I make it to Jeff's house only 3 blocks away. I walk up to his window. It's on the second story. I start to throw small rocks. God so cheesy. The light flips on. Jeff comes to the window his face looks so Sad. It brights a bit when he sees me. He sides open his widows and drops a rope he hide under his bed just so I could get in. Hell that's why I pasted gym last year. I'm used to climbing ropes I didn't crack a nail and cry like the other girls ugh. I climb into his room and lay on his bed. He sits down. "What's wrong?" I ask. "Liu they...they took him" he struggles to say. "WHAT WHY!" I yell. "You know that fight I had" I says. "Ya?" I reply. "Liu said he did it when the cops came they took him away" he closes his eyes as tears fall. I grab him and hold him close. I stay there till he falls asleep. Then I go home. I wake up at 12. Someone's knocking at the door. That's weird I thought everyone's at work? I answer the door. It's a cop. "Are you charlotte?" He ask. "Charley" I reply. "Your friend jeff is in the hospital. He was set on fire" he says calmly. I fall to the floor. The cop helps me up. "I can take you to him" he offers. "Okay" I agree. We get to the hospital and he leads me down to a room. A boys laying In there. Rapped up in bandages. I can't even tell it's jeff. I stay there for a few hours then I have to go home. A few weeks pass I try and see jeff as much as I can. I leave him notes and presents from me and slendy. One night I see someone climb in my window. It's dark. "Jeff?" I ask sleepily. "Yes" he replies. I flip on the lights and almost scream. His face is white and he has burns around where his eye lids should be. His lips where cut even wider to from a permeant smile. His clothes are covered in blood.
