Chapter 28.
Charley pov
After about a week I finally got up and could go out. I walked out of the house into the street. It was late at night. I haven't seen Jeff in days. I make my way through the neighborhood. Suddenly a hand covers my mouth and a arm wraps around my waist pulling me close.
I try to fight and run.
"Don't fight" a deep voice growls.
"Jeff you little fuck" I push his hand off my mouth.
He turns me around and presses his lips against mine.
"I couldn't let you walk all alone now could I?" He flirts.
Wow for the first time in months I see the boy I used to know. The Jeff I grew to love. I mean we were both bipolar as hell but some how it worked between us. You know even though we are both trying too kill laughing jack and clockwork.
"I have a question" Jeff said. We walked down the street and he slipped his hand into mine.
"Ya?" I asked.
"Have you ever thought of marriage" he asked.
"Um...no" I bluntly said.
"Oh" he looked hurt.
"I mean I've never had to I always knew I would marry you" I joked.
Jeff's face lite up. He started laughing. That amazing yet psychotic laugh. Which lets be honest I love. He pulled me closer and put his arm around my shoulders as we walked down the dark road.
