Walter sat with a small frown on his face, the combing fingers in his hair had stopped quite a while ago, the weight in his lap had grown heavier; Onora was asleep. She had somehow drifted off and was curled up quite comfortably in his lap, head tucked in the crook of his neck, hands now limp in her lap, legs curled up and against his side; Walter glanced down at her every now and again when she would whisper something, she was dreaming, he didn't know of what, but considering she looked peaceful he presumed nothing bad.
He still sat looking down at her when he finally heard a click, he turned his head and looked to the door. Daniels peeked in slowly, as if she was expecting to walk into a wrecked room, Walter pressed his lips into a thin line over that. They weren't going to have a domestic of any kind, and plus even he could tell that Onora wasn't the violent confrontational type. And that was even without basically forcing a gun in her hands, or to stand and practice hand to hand combat. At worst, maybe, she would've shouted at Walter...but she didn't even really do that. Her voice may have risen a little more than normal, but it was more out of exasperation than anger, or anything negative along those lines.
"Is she asleep?" Daniels asked in a whisper as she nudged the door open more. She was careful in case it decided to squeak or anything. With a relieved sigh, it didn't which meant she could walk more into the room. She tucked her hands into her pockets as she looked at them, she couldn't help but slightly smile. Poor Walter did look a little pinned to the wall by Onora sleeping away in his lap. He just mutely nodded as a reply and sent her a look, Daniels smiled more, she got it...no more louder tones or else the blonde was likely to wake. "Need help?" Daniels whispered instead, Walter was looking perplexed. It was clear he was trying to figure out a way to stand without disrupting Onora. Daniels watched though as he held onto her tightly and pulled her closer before bending his knees and pushing his back against the wall. He essentially pushed himself up the wall to stand, it worked, he soon stood looking down at Daniels.
"What?" Walter didn't understand why she was looking at him with such a fond look.
She just raised an eyebrow and nodded to the side, she allowed him out first before shutting the door and following suit. She just looked with a smile, "You two...?" She threw out suggestively with a waved hand in the air.
Walter frowned, he looked down at Daniels suddenly. "We have made up, yes."
Daniels laughed quietly and shook her head, that wasn't what she meant, but what else was she expecting from Walter? "That's good, I'm glad and happy for you, Walter." Daniels said honestly, she had seen how lost and confused he was without Onora around. It was endearing, she really did find it oddly cute how the synthetic had grown so attached to one person, and seemed truly bemused when she wasn't around. It was like a puppy, when its owner was away or out. Without the familiar face and presence around there was only confusion and the feeling of loss. Daniels didn't mean to compare Walter to a puppy, it just sort of happened. "I told you though, didn't I? The problem couldn't have been that bad. It just shows you that Onora values you in equal terms." Daniels said decisively. If Onora didn't care, at least a little bit, she wouldn't have clearly nodded off to sleep in Walter's lap. Daniels turned the corner along with the synthetic, the sleeping human remained fast asleep in his arms; Daniels sighed lightly, she didn't honestly want to look too into their relationship, but their closeness did go a little beyond, but only by a little smidge.
"The others?"
Daniels came back to the present by a small jolt. She had just been lost in thought, looking up at Walter she couldn't help but slowly smile. "Bored and not noticing you two being missing in action." Walter's head tilted at that, yet he gave a nod. That was good, if they had been noted being elsewhere he was certain questions would be raised; questions which neither would want to answer. "Actually, the first specifics for the ship have come through." That piqued Walter's curiosity. Daniels smiled when he looked down at her with an expression which matched the look in his eyes. "It's massive. And I mean massive, Walter." Daniels laughed, honestly she didn't know it was possible for a ship to be large. Or at least that large. Considering the passengers, it made sense that the accommodation would be big to house so many people. The crew were small in number in comparison.
