I walked down the driveway onto the street and walked to the house. My eye caught Gin as he walked into the house.

"Gin," I call to him, but he doesn't respond. So I walked onto the driveway and start heading up it.

I get to the closed doors and twisted the knob. It was locked. I raise a hand and knock on it. The sound was louder than I thought it would be.

"Hello," I asked, my voice making a small echo.

It spread across the porch.

After a moment I knocked again and the door this time made a noise. The doorknob turns and the door opens like a haunted movie. It creaked open and a muzzle pokes out. The dog from my first day opens it and waits, looking at me.

"Oh, what's up pup," I say smiling.

The dog didn't seem to be happy I said that, so I say something else instead. "Can I come in?"

The dog makes a long old woof and turns away walking off.

I took that as a yes and walked in. I don't see anyone so I start walking around. I go down one hall and peek into some of the rooms. One of them was a bedroom, and the other was a Library. There were other rooms but a sound distracted me from looking.

Lilly was calling my name and was just about to round the corner. "Arie," she called!

I sprang forward and stopped, bumping into her.

Lilly grabbed my shoulders.

"Arie," she said in a surprised manner! She let go of me. "Sorry, you startled me. What brings you to this hall."

I look at her then shake of the bump. "Oh, I just turned down it randomly. Where is everyone," I asked?

"Were all out back. It's a pool party remember," Lilly said then started to lead me to the back.

We get to the back door and see Farris in black and white bottoms. He slides the door open and greets me with a warm smile.

"Why hello Arie. Welcome to this wonderful house," he says. He looks at Lilly. "The burgers are ready and we need a plate."

Lilly let's go of me and rushes into the kitchen area.

"We keep them in this cabinet. If you ever need it," she says looking at me.

I nod "thanks, oh and what about that bathing suit?"

Farris seems to brighten at that statement.

I think he wanted me to be in a bathing suit.

Lilly zapped a look at Farris then smirked.

"Come on lover boy I need your help finding the one we picked. Arie you should wait here," she says.

After a moment the two of them disappear and leave me alone in the room. I look around and see something I hadn't seen the first time looking around.

A green wolf necklace hung under a mirror.

I walked over and looked at it. I picked it up then looked around. I lightly touched the metal then let out a loud yell as the metal burned my hand. I almost threw it but managed to put it back in place before gripping my hand and looking at the odd burn mark in my hand.

Farris and Lilly came bolting out.

"Arie what happened," Farris asked getting to me; a bathing suit in his hands.

I hid my hand. "I'm fine. I just hit the side of the table," I tell them.

They buy it and Farris takes a breath. He then sees the necklace and takes another breath, this time more of a worried one.
